Hi R1 riders, i reading up on R1. Read 30 page liao, still got sooOOOOooo many more to go. A lot of useful info i have learnt about the bike, but a lot of tcss also leh. Sianz...

 

Is there any R1 troubleshoot thread or bike specs threads that focus more on the repair and problem issues? Or this the only thread?

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Huh.. what about the 10 pages? Got useful discussion about the bike? Or your personal shooting war that i should skip? Save my time.. haha.. I'm considering between CBR1000 n R1... This 2 more suited for long distance whacking compared to the 600ccs right? 570 pages more to go...

but frankly speaking , cOnsidering between this 2 , i still chOOse r1 cOz cOmpared 07 tO 07 mOdel .. r1 seems mOre high tech .. and OutlOOk wise i still prefer r1 .. mOre agressive ..

 

1 thing r1 lOse Out .. heat !

nOthing feels better than riding a YZF ...

Ah thanks AIE, that one is 4o plus pages, much easier to digest, and less tcss. 900km/h, i have to admit its the R1 that always make me take a longer glance when walking by them in the car parks. Looks rather rectangular from the rider's view when looking downwards though... My class 2 is still 6 months away... i slowly find out more in all the sporkbike threads first :cheeky:

hey guys, i just changed my brake lines to hel... after tat i need to depress more of the front brake... means orignal i depress 1/4 brake le... but after i change e lines i have to depress more den half... the rear dont seem to have much a problem, onli e front.. the mech say after awhile will b ok but i dont feel comfortable... any1 had e same problem b4?

sounds like air in ur brakelines.

 

get another mechanic to bleed ur lines for u

can i noe roughly how far can the bike travel after the reserve light stays on?

cause i read the specs it is 16.5L
