hi guys, Jus to check something with u all. Hear from my bike shop that R104-06 start to have this coil explosion issue.. This issue starting surfacing out ard this corner only. He already got few customer kana liao and this issue is even u got $$ also got no stock for u to replace. The case is jus like CBR case coil problem.. and its nt cheap to get this solve....

didnt know R1 also affected by coil issue

 

mine 02 model, old bike. so many problems coming.

once i start riding the r1, really feel like getting the 08 model. too bad ... bankbook say no.:cry:

Hi Guys,

i like to ask K7 1000. There is a 'Mode' on the right handle bar.

Is that for changing cc like, 600, 750, 1000?

Another thing is that, does the consumption alot? Headache...

I also heard that K8, there's not much diff. Only colour additional, got white, yellow and Black. But need to top up 1.5k. I think not worth it at all.

the bike drinks petrol... mine 192 to 200km the lights come up... depending whether more expressway riding or more small roads riding... then the reserve can bring to 40km only... thats what i test... about 14km/l siah... same like vios.

..... there is a k7 G1 1st Batch recall - changing of ISC and ECU now(total dmg cost 1.5k) , please contact guan hoe suzuki to change the part cause this is free. !!! if u dont change now, next time - there will be charges for it!

About the petrol, i had check that this model has Suzuki Daul Trottle Valve System(SDTV), with 12 smaller holes for improved fuel delivery and steeper angle for secondary injectors, Compare to K6 G1, the system is to maintain optimum air velocity in the intake tract for smooth low to mid rpm throttle response and high torque output - inculdes Auto Fast Idle System (AFIS)

But this AFIS is on K6, not K7. Its also disapointment on the consumption, although the Suzuki is so adv in technology. Haix.:(

Anyway, now there is a chemical which mix with the petrol can extend mileage, mayb that can helps to save some petrol loh.

We should togather find the 'thing', which can helps us to extend mileage and save consumptions.

Its bcox of the 12 holes, which the toy drink like water.

So Gixxer, I urge you all to find out any products can help to solve the problem togather. Pls share around.

AFIS is replace by New Idle Speed Control (ISC) system for improved cold starting, consistent idle quality and reduced emissions for k7 onward.

So K7 is using a new technology....

retro is faster than me by 10km/h .....
