Just to share with everyone so tat we can learn from each others' experiences.

 

At traffic light, light turned amber. picked up my speed to clear the traffic light. 2lane and i was on the right. approaching cars turning right (2lanes for turning right) waited for me to clear the traffic light.

 

out of the sudden, this taxi did a u turn instead of turning right. i need to swerve so much tat i nearly hit the kerb. if u dun understand, i drew out a picture of the situation.

when bike experience 'choking' when u open yr throttle. the bike will response v slowly, u will feel it, v obvious

ET: ask u ah... our stock rear shock till this day, must go service anot? I think da sound come from my rear shock.. its like always i fetch pple, then will have tat sound.. or issit its a lousy rear shock like R1 2001, travel awhile then heat up liao and lose da bouncing..? Btw ur bulb is at my place..

Maybe it the shock damper that is spoilt. I suggest rebuliting your rear shock since you are going to remove it to change spring anyway.

Rear shock of course also got spring/coil. Not sure the price but will cost you in term of hundred. Ask them first before proceed. Anyway they will remove your shock and dismantle everything. They will inspect for damage and things needed to change. But often they will just pour in a new shock oil and seal. So I think it better to tie up with them, let them know what you want.

shawn: i believe, a hyper rear shock spring will cost $480 from motoroworld if i dont remember wrongly... very busy, no time to take the bulb how~~~
