Proper break in is to ensure longevity of the engine. Follow the manual of not operating above the recommended rpm range for prolonged period. Once in a while you can go beyond the range for short burst(eg: overtaking). Some people recommend doing heat cycles (Eg: ride the bike, cool down completely and ride again)

For hard breakin.... (if you dare)Read this

Hi gixxers, decided to take a pic of how i mounted the gipro gear indicator after bro wacko pmed me asking me how i done mine, so here it is.

Made a bracket and secured it to the bolt holding the left mirror and used another nut to hold it in. The reason why its secured by cable-tie there is bcos i was too busy to go and buy the 3m outdoor heavy duty double-sided tape so using the cable-tie for now. One con of this method is that it is quite troublesome to take out the mirror (eg for track). If u want to take out you will have to leave the bolt in order to secure the gear indicator.

I have seen my friend's k7g6 where he stuck the gear indicator on top of the original gear indicator but with the clutch cable almost hitting it while full lock. My way still allows some clearance of about 1cm during full lock.

Relax!

still contemplating on whether wanna install TRE w GiPro..

Does it really works the TRE?

It only "improve part throttle response"

Yea..I feel to combine 600s & 750s is ok as we post both sides anyway..But to merge all 3 threads would be slightly overkill IMHO as imagine posting a question on this page only to return 8hrs later to find out that 5-6 pages has pass by..

Bro, receive my PMs yet??

Anyway for TRE right..Did enquire with my friend last time and his reply is this..Take a TRE equip bike vs a non-tre equip bike both in stock condition and the results would be on 6th gear roll on, the non-tre bike would actually have the advantage..

Anyway, the tre main purpose is to actually remove the 1st 3 gears redline powercut, and the pt is, would we ever run up to redline on track??

My $0.0002 of opinion..

No lehx..It was a gradual increment on the throttles..Maybe that's why it didnt lift..
