grounding i did at HKL, cost $55. wat i can say is the grounding done is darn professional. i did a 4 point grounding, max for my bike. now riding is superb, no lag between 1krpm to 3krpm even when doing high gear low speed.

mileage has miraculously improved by 22km :giddy: :giddy: :cheer: :cheer: which means an improvement of 1.2km per litre.!!! :cheer: :lovestruck:

No more regrets.

  wait now im really confuse u said wif Suzuki Pair valve linking the airbox to exhaust ports our bike shld nt backfire but If you changed to an aftermarket exhaust, may also have backfire.

So our bike shld not or may have backfire which is which??

By the way im usin a aftermarket end-can b4 i teka everything is fine but after TEKA is done thing like gettin out of place wif sugglish low RPM , pick up seen like slower then b4 and worst of all the backfire :weep:

it alway like these, If you change to a race exhaust , the pick up wont be so good, cos you dont stay in that low RPM.Put back your sliencer, it would be better.Or re teka with the sliencer, cos you ride in SG road more.

You need to go test the mid and top, than feed back to the mech that do the teka.

Kinwei went teka 3 time before he is totaly happy with his setting.

But you got a problem, you restrict from going to malaysia.

Anyway teka cant slove the backfire problem.Cos teka cant tune 0% fuel .

Backfire happen when you close throttle, which is at 0%.

Before my bike install PC, it backfire when i close throttle. or even when i drop a gear.it only slove it after i install my PC3 for my bike.

Hey my friend ask which damper is good for CBR 954.... I know this place for R1.. sorry but i dun know so i ask u guys. Alj say ohlins, but my friend say too expensive got cheaper? or can find second hand? he just got his bike.

If he's on a budget, get a 2nd hand lor. As long it's still working, should be ok. Btw, my mechanic told me not to use my damper in Singapore (means don't using the damping) to prolong the usage of it. I agree. I only use the damping when I go to Malaysia. Just my 2 cents worth.

Firstly an apology to all....

I have decided to stop doing Teka tuning; OK, I mean I love bikes and helping people and all... but it's just really taking too much time and it's not my primary work... and I am just quite tired.

Shawn, since I had already worked on your bike; I'll do it again for you when you have changed your endcans.

2wheels.. same goes for you.

But I am sorry to say that I would not be taking on any more new tuning jobs for the time being.

Apologies.

John: Man, it was a great lost to me. Btw thanks man for the offer. Will look for u mid of the month.

Rest: ehh anyone wan to join me tml HKL for grounding? Feel like pulling out da voltmeter and throw away sial.. makan my voltage!

I did'nt mean that. I meant I don't set the setting to 0, and only set it up a few clicks when I go to Malaysia.

Juz my advise, getting a damper or not is really up to own dividual needs.

For my case, last time mine don't hv. Handling wise is ok for me but the damper

provide me less vibrations frm the handle when on NSW Expressway on

180km/hr.....my both hands less vibrations frm that kind of speeds.

Hey guys,

I think some of you has seen this video on how reliable the R1 is when Sjaak Lucassen used it to travel around the world. It's already 5 years and the bike is still going strong after 195,000+kms.
