Did u change ur mid pipe?

might be the wires related to either

- lamda sensor or

- exup valve control?

 

most probably the lamda my guess

 

unlikely to be ecu as u can start ur bike.

 

one solution u can try on ur own:-

remove battery connection for 10 secs,

put it back and start the bike.

*meter will reset to original settings like mph instead of km/h

 

still have, then u go back HL lo

YEs i've changed mid pipe.. Currently using full system.

 

After I've posted that entry, so far so good leh .. no more of such problem occuring ... But i'll monitor further, just in case it comes back...

 

I'll try disconnecting the battery first if the problem persists.

 

Thanx for the inputs from all the bros here..

 

Hopefully nothing of that sort comes again.

hey guys, im kinda a newbie on this stuff, but since im gonna take over my friend's k7, i kinda hope y'all can share some info on stuff.

 

what are the recommended servicing required for a k7?

where is the best place to service up?

what is the price range, usually?

what to look out for when riding that baby?

for stuff like injector servicing, or performance related services, what to do, and how often?

lastly, what can i expect from the bike?

 

your help is greatly appreciated.

Do calculate and manage your finances carefully. No point having an R1 if it is going to drain your resources and burden you financially... :goodluck:

i did plan out my finances properly did consider all the expenses including the future increase of fuel n erps charges....

u forgot, influence by frens to mod parts like exhaust... brakelines,

helmets, gloves ... all these need $$

welcome our new gixxer rider.

 

1. servicing - normal stuff, engine oil - filter- check plugs and coolant(since you take over the bike) also pads and brake oil

 

2.bext plc for service - anywhere the price is gd mech relaible

 

3. cost of service - normally abt 100 - 130 (wat type oil and filter u using)

 

4. bike - what can i say abt a K7 ( best ) lol but get use to the bike

 

5. performance - wah...this 1 hahaha...think simply answer will be . know your bike well....you will know when something is wrong...the rest when time to do or service you will know. But you need a gd mech...we all service at different plc. Its all up to you dude.

 

6. what u can expect for k7 - fun...fast..power
