Good morning fellow Gixxers!!! Hope you have a bright and wonderful Sunday today.

So Kai, basically you are just changing the fork springs? Anxiously waiting your review bro, cos I think it will be useful to the rest also. By the way, another noob question, this fork spring is universal rite? As is K1-K8 can use?

yes...just the springs... u go to the website... key in ur bike model and yr... key in ur weight... they will recommend the correct spring rates for u...

Replacing the stock fork oil to something like Fuchs Race Fork Oil makes some difference to the way the bike handles..

Of cos stiffer springs are better than oil alone..

something i learnt which might be useful to share...

y aftermarket shocks r so ex... it's only becos of the curve obtained when u mount the shock on the shock dyno... and it is possible to obtain that curve from eg. the ohlins, and build ur stock shock according to that... simple to say... ur stock shock perform like an ohlins... except u won't hav the 'WoW' factor...

you wan k2 racetec huh... buy my friend wan la.. muhahaha!!!

uncle... racetec springs... not metzler racetec...haha~

It's all about the 'K'

Pickup lose??? :slapforehead:

You seriously havent launched ur 600 from 0km/hr yet..A bike which is more stable during pickup doesnt mean that it's slower..I rem when i switch from a PGM to a K4 600, i find that my K4 pickup is slow, the actual fact is that it's more stable..

Ahhh ... thank you many many hor. Hmmm USD$109 not inclusive of shipping. Btw any idea if getting the rear springs, must consider pillion's weight also?

Go for it. It's not like you can't afford it. However if the mileage is 6000km, the odometer may have gone one round unless the owner really seldom ride the bike for the past 5 years... :p

Or he may have earlier ridden the bike into a brick wall, or ass-end of a truck/bus/name-your-favorite-heavy-vehicle-here and totally flattened his face. Hence the brand new parts and mint condition. :D

That part..Unless u pillion for like everytime you ride ur bike..If like going to pillion once a week or a few hours a week as compared to ur riding time alone weekly, i think it's more feasible to get ur own weight kind..
