plug wise... just go for the iridium plugs... ngk or denso is ok... if u r daring... can try OWS... right Mr Who?

 

I feel that OWS is a good plug as I have tried it before... In fact, i'm gonna change that for my next change...

 

Btw, i changed my SBF password and was awaiting activation .. Dats why i could post in the last 4 days...

btw guys....yesterday i found this 07 cbr fireblade for sale at local bike advertising forum, give him a call, the bike only 991 km on odo for a years and like new condition....the new bike smell still there, after some bargain....deal....i bought it...hehehe....new collection to my stable (03 R1 and harley)...last night the bike reach my home....some pics i take....

 

after purchase this cbr, looks like i have to let my 03 R1 to go after own this 03 R1 for 4 days only...hehehe....

hi guys/ gals, dun mind me asking; what does the velocity stacks do?

also, which plug us being used for the k7g6? need to change already but not sure which type.

Denso Iridium bebeh.... arnd $16~17 plus free denso jacket.. must ask!! velocity stacks is for better mid range, air flow intake is smoother and better unlike the flimsy oem rubber funnels. but u'll lose ur top end definitely, since ur for track arr bang, its a gd choice.

 

plug wise... just go for the iridium plugs... ngk or denso is ok... if u r daring... can try OWS... right Mr Who? hehe... rating wise... u can still to no. 8 or 9? can't remember... is the normal rating... can try hot plug for more power... unless u hav a pc3 to bring down the temp of ur engine... maybe u can find ah xiong at hkl...he can recommend u the plug... dun go to ah b...haha~

 

I had a bad experience on OWS product. i was the 2nd rider for my ex vtec, and ma fren went for honeymoon. gave me cash to do servicing, happen that tis OWS has promo. OWS engine oil, OWS iridium plugs and oil filter. after 1 mth plus of usage, one of the spark plug blown off. the whole spaRk plug cap pop out with the spark plug and the best thing the thread is partially left inside. talked to the boss and he compensate with normal plugs and OWS engine oil half price. Last aug i help ma fren change MOTUL eo and to my horror the oil is so damn dilluted. even if its 10w40, ive never came across oil dat is so dilluted. that day onwards OWS is a NO for me.its from german make btw meantly for cars but lately they cater for bikes too.

First motor.....racewerk.....but ex... coz they need to cut and mould the headlight fixture mounting. need to leave ur bike few days.

Don't. Keep it on standby just in case that CBR1000's magnetic coil gets fried. Honda 1000cc model is famous for that...

I know the oil is **** as they were using the engine oil for cars then...I've not tried the plugs on my Suzy; but last time on my Honda it works very well

honda's magnetic coil problem is only on the earlier models for 04 and 05. The later models dont have this problem. dont scare people unnecessarily lah
