Dude. HL will honor any factory/official recalls.

 

Example being the known TPS problems on the R1, and the cracking frame weld problem on the 06/07 FZ1. They did honor refits and replacements.

 

For any unrecorded or previously unknown defects, it's on a case-by-case basis.

 

 

 

That being said, if you're really antsy about it, maybe you should wait for the 2nd or 3rd batch of the 09'R1 before you commit. Let the early adopters feel the probs first. That new Xplane crankshaft engine, while interesting, could have issues. Could... who knows, right?

just another rider on the road.... so it is just a female rider mah... nothing special i think they are the one who need to smile or show a little more friendly gestures rather then we guys look and smile 1st ...

 

i have encountered lots of female riders on the road but it seemed tat they are the one whom act tao or show us the the face of characness (malay terms wth bit of english there... hehhehe)

 

there fore when the us guys look and smile to them we kena label buaya... hmmmm next time i think we guys here must show them the chiikibuayas peace sign and the cheeky smile then they know...... hemp!!! right :cheeky: guys??

Yes correct. Most of the time I see it's the ladies who has that ego. Must ride fast. Cannot lose to guys. I see the way they ride I also scared. Haha~

Jus got the pc3 usb w/o tuning but load the relevent fuel map supplied in the cd that came wid it. Amazingly, low end is so much smooth but less torquey. anything above 4k rpm is nerve braking(at least to me la)!

Engine doesn't ping liao n bike runs fantastic!

Who needs dyno tune for their pc3 at hkl can pm me, cos I purchased the package which include the pc3 + installation + tuning. But I haven let them tune n not intending to do it soon. I can sell the tune session to u slightly lower then their offer so u wun pay much n I wun lose much.

hi lass...no offence to u or any other female riders. firstly let me say, i admire all who ride bikes for passion, sexes dun matter.

 

Psychological studies have shown that when women looks upon a problem, they tend to focus almost 100% of the time on what's wrong with the male behaviours. So i dun blame u if u say this ego thing about the male riders. But in reality it happens both ways just like what mrWho said, he felt it too sumtimes about the female riders. Tho, i not siding on any gender, i admit there are arse**le riders both male and female.

 

so i agree with u on this matter...there are still arse-like riders out there, but not limiting to any one gender.

Reason why i like to join in voicing out this topic is because i ride fast myself and i dun impose any ego'ness on any rider i pass by, cause i just want to enjoy my ride since im on the road to get from point a to point b. I admit maybe when we all were young in our teenage angst we have those naive egoes. But since im not young now but young at heart la...hahah...i still enjoy riding fast as long as i dun impose any immediate danger to other bikers or drivers, and to quote what evil said, think that's the best thing to do...just go about doing ur own stuff on ur own time, but never fail to return a wave and smile when it is given to u.
