I had a bad experience with a female rider riding a sportsbike a few months back. One moment she was behind me, the next second beside me, a few moments later she just cut in front of my path with no signal lights. I had to brake hard as traffic was quite heavy given the peak period. At the traffic light stop, i went close beside her, and said, "Eh chio bu, if you feel like dying, next time try doing that in front of a cement mixer, cos I'm not willing to fall down and die with you." She just stared ahead at the traffic light. I think she is deaf given the noisy illegal exhaust she was using. She still never turn to look at me ley. Traffic light turn green I blast off and cut back into her lane and I brought up my middle finger. She just went slowly behind me after that. I wouldn't have cared even if her father was president of Singapore; You knock me down, if I die, how? You want to feed my family?

 

To me, as a road user, you should respect other people too, male or female, young or old is all same. She could have just said sorry and I'd be most willing to forget the matter.

No lah. I anyhow shoot only. So 08 don't have but 07 have it then? ((((R1Rider)))), did you get either the 07-08 or was it the 04-06 R1 model where you experienced TPS problem? Sometimes, I get confused with the bike models from the various riders who experienced problems with their own respective bikes. Thus, the confusion and honest to goodness mistake...

likely to be ard 24k or higher....LOL.. not sure how true...

they even say super4 otr for 2009 model to be ard 16k

hi guys... my k7 g6 has understeering problems at PG. just realise this when i am starting to get more comfy on the bike and pushing it a bit. its going well wide at the fast turns. i suspected it would be my lining problem but checking back my line is ok and the bike really feels amiss as it goes really well wide even when i manage to bring it really close to the apec strips mid corner. almost lost the front a couple of times as i forced the bar to turn in coz i was running out of tarmac.

 

IF it is really understeering problem, do I change my suspension settings?

 

appreciate any help rendered so that I can get a head start of where to look at and experimenting.

i used to have the same problem as u... so wat i did was to lower the front... turning was sharper but it was said to be a wrong move... so i revert by to stock settings...

 

by the way, wat settings r u using for ur comp and rebound?

tires - bro that is exactly what Wan pointed out to me yesterday... he told me understeering is normally traction associated and i prolly need a tire change. i'm on used MSS tires anyway, so it makes sense.

 

on top of that i tink the suspensions need some fine tuning as well...

i tink the problem with sharper turn in setting is that whilst it settles turning in problems it creates another problem; powering out (where the rear is critical). but this is just my thought and i'm no expert at tuning, i only know how to ride it makes sense tho to have a nice balance for both causes.

 

i dont know my own bike settings coz my friend tuned it for me but the thing is, he has a stop-go style whilst i prefer a free-flowing style so i have to start from scratch with experiments

You using the Racetec from Loois or Supercorsa's from Motoworld's Team? Or the Dunlops from Bikelab?

 

Nope bro not at PG... My tires are out as well I thought of changing skali i realised my road tax is expiring, and I'll need renew my insurance in order to renew the road tax
