recently FASTBIKES magazine did a modification test on a 08' HAYABUSA and results is a pair of M4 cans adds 3 bhp peak power , a 2BROTHERS full system adds 9 bhp to a whopping 184bhp at wheel ..

 

Slipons = 3bhp, while full sys = 9bhp

 

With endcans only, I'm surprised there's any increase at all..

Hmmm to me 3bhp increase with slip on , for 1359cc Hayabusa should be quite normal bah ... nowadays inorder to comply with Euro emission regulation the bikes are koala-ded with a few CATS in the exhaust system , restricting their max potential output flow ...

 

As for 08CBR1 it was been described as a almost faultless bike out from factory , with a aftermarket slip on (didn't mention brand) the dyno shows a deflicit of 5 bhp compared to stock pipes .. stock 155bhp , Leo Vince full system + PC3 = 163bhp , pipercross air-filter shows no improvement .. means that to make improvements to the bike is not easy ..

 

The mag also says that 07R1 responded well to air-intake and exhaust mods .. meaning ? *Cough Cough*

 

Above stated claims on 08CBR1 and 07R1 are in accordnace to FASTBIKES magazine issue 218 ..

No offence to 07R1 owners , to me it's more worth it when u spend money and effort on your mods for this instance .. since it will up the power besides making it FIT FOR KKFC ..

tat area have lotta big bull if u daily go there,add u in shld have ard 20 in 2 mscp....but think the K5 u mention cant go fast...have to change organs if not every internal break down lolx....

Haha "LKH" boss hates me cos that time my friend bought a 929 from him and we requested for a free tyre replacement , then he say oK I replace a pair of "race tires - BT012" ... He's just trying to get rid of his unwanted obsolete stocks I suppose , BT012 is well known for it's gripping characteristics - lousy even road .. then I say nevermind la my friend dun need such good tires , u keep it for your rep racer use bah , give my friend a pair of Sportec M1 will do ... then he laugh and say :" HAHAHA you really know what I'm thinking !"

of cos its the TTX... price wise... a lil above 2K region...

 

A cheaper alternative is the WP Race Suspension... but yet to be tested so can't comment as yet..its still uh.. lying in my room somewhere..
