burning smell could be from race fairings... mine smells like burning all the time...

 

can be also la... my frends CBR1000 08 already burned a hole on his lower race fairings , as the race one was used to cater for aftermarket exhaust but he still using stock exhaust. you should be ok.. unless its too near like mine.. can start to see the burning part liow..

bike cover i using oxford, very good. yar i need alarm! was at bikeworkz yest, some poor chap i met showed me his cbr600 which had been tampered with. superglue poured into his fuel cap and ignition key, seat scratched badly.

i was quoted for FZ R1 registered in 2005, machine price 14800 and otr 16800 and shop agree to spray R1 08 color for me... is it worth? bike comes with akra sp series + y pipe, racing foot rest(not sure what brand), and adjustable clutch lever, ohlins damper, and ohlins suspension...

 

the additional 2k (16800 - 14800) includes 6mths road tax, transfer fees, insurance and legal fees.

I think it should be the exhaust catalyst. Mine Semimoto quite good le. Never melt til i got my aftermarket exhaust...

I got my FX 04r1 3 mths back machine price 11k. No akra sp series + y pipe, racing foot rest and adjustable clutch lever, ohlins damper, and ohlins suspension...

Dun need even mention the new paint work that u want.

So, $3800 for all those parts/accessories, new paint n 1yr newer bike, I think that's a gd catch.

But whether u kena chop or u got a gd buy, aft u get the bike, ride the **** out of it, u'll love it so much that u 4get all the price....

btw, breakdown of the extras r, rd tax 6 mths, not too sure, think abt 100+, transfer 300+(this 1 I think I kena chop, insurance is 1345 from ntuc, tpft. legals all in for 400.

 

Last but not least, have u eva tot of gettin a cheaper n older cl2 to play ard 1st, b4 settling for ur dream bike?

 

Well, perhaps we should ask the guy who had little felines sitting on his bike on How we should deal with such a person..? this kinda of ppl should have their male reprodcutive parts "tampered" with and "poured" superglue on..

 

 

No point thinkin how to deal wid such person cos they r always hiding in the dark, but if really can catch the person during his act, take ur helmet, be it nova or arai, whack the **** out of him/her 1st b4 callin the police.

Pls let me know how worthwhile is the alarm cos I also feel like installing 1 but dunno if its really worth it.

better dun get that kind of alarm cos many selfish M'sian cub like to park damn near to other bikes , sometimes squeezing in as third bike when there's only 2 parking lots .. if they park so near I think your alarm will sound off non-stop , then in the end your battery went low/drained totally .. I think install a normal alarm and always try to cover your bike is a better bet , quite troublesome at time though ..

wah good bargain it sounds like .. check engine condition also .. my friend got a CBR929 damn cheap about 3 years ago but needed to change the whole crank shaft , 1 conrod , some bearings and etc ... spent 2.8k because it's just 1 week after the warranty period ...

 

Anyway I trust yours should be ok but dun spray 08R1 color la , spray SANTANDER(like Haga's R1) race decal looks much better .. get Galfer carbon steel wave brake disc , power commander II , Brembo aftermarket M/C .. waH 110% fit to join us at KKFC

Press the top button amongst the 2 on ur meter for abt 2 -3 secs and it will b switched to km/h...
