I suspect clutch slippage (i.e. worn clutch plates). Have it checked. Also, when you change oil, look out for "burnt smell".

mechanic said no prob with the clutch plates, so in the end washed the air filter and changed ngk iridium plugs.

so far no improvement on the sluggish pickup, mech advised me to send the bike for dyno.

any bro did dyno at HKL?

Hey bro ... Thanx for your concern... I just checked out from Changi General Hotel... Dogtor says my brain is ok n still functioning and there's no fracture on my chest n ribs .. Only bruised muscles on my chest area dats causing me pain on every movements I made .. Now on MC til 25th ... I really need the rest bro .. Very painful... But I need to go settle my bike at the shop also .. sigh ... Dat's another headache for me.... Hopefully the repair figure dun jump so high....

 

Wow. Sounds painful. I crashed at the same corner in 2005. Also high speed. Knocked the wind out of me too. Anyway, sounds like you'll get back on your feet. As long as you walk away, well... that's all good.

For K5 - VIN No: JS1B6111200100006 to JSB16111200101883

For K6 - VIN No: JS1B6111200101888 to JSB16111200104047

If no cracks are found, frame reinforcement brace will be attached.

Source - Suzuki Svc Centre.

 

Mine is not under that list- but can i get it reinforced as well? Anybody knows?
