wad a mode b mode? trip a ,b u mean ? wad is that ah :cheeky:

A mode has 30% more respone on the engine.

Meaning your rpm goes up 30% faster than std.

B mode has 30% less respone on the engine.

Rpm 30% slower too

Std mode is just the same as std 08' and other models

So the fun part comes when you switch to A Mode.

ya..i borrowed my bro's VFR800 while waiting for my ride, and the VFR practically do not feel hot at all even during hot days with the rad fan blowing..

a quick question, i'm doing my break in now, it is normal to see white smoke from the exhuast? something seems to be burning off in the exhuast..

haha kns kerna bluffed by you but is true...really sound v diff. 3 spark plug is 'shar kang hui' ya but am really amazed by the size of it - short and if i rem correctly they r using moto gp technology. e one w the red frame looks really nice but i gather it will be very common cos it's novelty since it's e only bike that doesn't hv either a silver or black frame.

e new k9 can look better though - still so round & heavy, then again once you fit on race fairing it shd look better. exhaust thing no issue la always got aft mkt exhaust to change - best is 4 to 1 conversion. e 2 hugh bazookas certainly damage e looks of it. anyway i still prefer e k5 to all the new versions.

Mi too, if only k5 still got brand new. lol i get one back.

At idling, i tried my frens R1. Just by revving it at different modes, u can feel the differences on the response. A feels damn scary and shocking. I think you have to really learn how to ride this bike, in order to fuly utilize the A-Mode.

I'm gonna register my R1 tomorrow. Hopefully out by Wed or Thursday.

Of course latest is Sat, so i can join u all at K.KFC. Then at around 7pm, i need head for Wedding Dinner.

The OEM pad is the weakest link. Upgrade to EBC 2HH will solve the problem. :thumb:

hi guys.. juz got home and i have something to say about the 09R1...

Previously ridden a suzuki k61k, for 09R1 its sure damn hot lah... even with the carbon n decat y pipes.. i still feel the heat man.. cant imagine the stocks.. haiyoh..

Ok now my personal experience based on below 5000rpm coz running in mah.. Moving off requires alot more gas revving abt 3k rpm for smooth take off or it vibrates and dies on u.. takes time to get use to it.. Engine wise i would say very smooth, so smooth dat when i reached 100km/h abv i did not realize ( no engine vibration/stress ).. very2 minimal engine braking.. front brake sucks need to upgrade ( hose & pump will do the job ).. Less torque for me on the low range.. but can feel it coming abv 4k rpm..

Cornering.. AYE towards Jurong clementi ave 6 exit.. rear shocks superb.. feels very light & comfy.. anytime for short corners/small track like p.gudang.. I would feel this bike is not for top speed but for corners/tracks.. entering and exiting would be very2 smooth consperm chicken chop..

Final say.. i love this machine.. unique in its own way.. alot of get use to it need to be done.. Chao..

sweeeeettttttttttttt engine and exhaust s0und!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the way the air is channel around bro...

As for your white smoke issue, your's is a new bike cos maybe something running in?? Doesnt always happen right??Might you might wana ride for a few days more??
