yo leon lai, actually for injectors, there is no need for u to service unless timing is out. Which means that u had difficulty in starting up the bike and while stopping, idling is very irregular and engine stalled at times.

 

Valve clearance is recommended when your milage is high.

 

Adjustment of timing chain cannot be done (correct me if i am wrong) as the chain tensioner is automatic. Meaning that automatically it will tighten the timing chain when loose. So the adjustment of timing chain cannot be done unless u have change it to the manual chain tensioner.

Thought of servicing e injectors too as a package when i'm doing the valve clearance.

 

Tensioner has been replaced about 5 months back...

 

thought it comes in a package for this services

 

maybe its $50 for 1/2 hr or 1 shot?

Hi riders, i was thinking of organising another outing on the 13th June 2009 ( 2 saturdays from now ).

 

Here is how it goes:

 

1) a local outing ( bring passports in case our NS riders cannot make it then we'll go malaysia )

2) Malaysia outing ( if those NS riders really cannot make it and let us know before hand )

dont lah friend, cause i have heard of stories and witness 1 myself that buyer came to test bike in carpark. TP rode in and straight away took down the buyer and seller's particulars and went to court straight. Dont need to say more but u know what happen liao

 

u want i recommend u to a bikeshop at east area where the mechanics are the best person to test and give advice without charges first at least in the end we are safe

Ah Zhen from HKL also allows prospective buyers to test ride the bike you are interested in, around the nearby carpark. However should you drop the bike, you buy it...
