Hi all, for those who wud like to know, if your ISC valve coupler is spoiled.

Symptoms:

- low gear gives u crappy throttle jerkyness when slow moving

- FI error code is C40 (manual pg.4-79 for gsxr1000; other manuals pls check)

- when riding, clutch in to change gear, engine sounds like cut off (no sounding feedback, pipe went silent like for a second, like no idling)

- when engine braking slowing down, clutch in to drop gear, sumtimes engine kill

Testing Done:

adjusting the tps sensor, when ignition is turned on but engine is OFF, screw is loosen and throttle position sensor (tps) is turned until the dash indicator is positioned to the center (-C00). once engine is ON, indicator stays center. after throttle is revved, indicator goes up to the top and stays there even though throttle is closed. next, kill the engine and off the ignition. once ignition is turned on again with engine OFF, the indicator goes back to center. once engine is on, same thing happens.

The ISC valve circuit voltage is unusual. The crappy throttle idling is caused by inconsistent low and high idling speed.

Solution:

replace the ISC valve coupler, and reconnect the ecm coupler to it, re-adjust ur tps sensor (-C00), no more irregularities.

hope this information helps for those who needs it. cheers`

Morning R1ders, got an enquiry...

Iridium spark plug normally can last for how long?

20,000km?

for me, i dont look at the millage. I look at the condition of the plug.

Meaning that normally it takes 1 crank or 1 push to start my bike right. So i will change the plugs when it takes 2 or 3 cranks to start my bike :)

What say u

New Motovation Heavy Balancers with Barend Sliders

http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq228/uniquemotor/honda_big.gif

Price: $65 with installation ($75 for Fazer 1000)

Available for most bikes.

These NEW designed bar-end balancers are designed to be heavier than stock to cancel out the high frequency 2nd and 3rd order harmonic vibrations that cause discomfort and fatigue while riding (yes, they really work!). Comes with replaceable bar-end sliders, Machined from high grade stainless steel, these bar-ends weigh about 330 grams a piece.

Take the MOTOVATION test! Ride 50 miles with stock bar-ends and then replace them with ours and go for another 50 mile ride and we'll take them back* if you do not feel a definite improvement in your riding experience! If you ride longer distances you have to have these as they'll eliminate that 'buzz' you feel in your hands after a long ride.

Just installed this Motovation Heavy Balancers with Barend Sliders last week n its great...

Vibration really reduced alot n can really feel the difference

yup its for the handle bars, at the end where the original ones is black in colour, the 2 metal round things.

Nope it doesnt affect on mileage. What it does is it reduces vibrations on straight roads by alot so that your hands dont go numb and u are more comfortable.

Wow kulai outing ....

u want to join?
