i found that gsx k9 not competitive like previous year at wsbk..??

from mag review, k9 is a great bike ....

 

not the spies.....the r1 :p

 

K9 is powerful.... But too much power means that it is only good for initial few laps before the tire gets destroyed.

 

The M1/R1 crossplane design ensures that the power is transmitted as gently as possible to the ground. Hence the consistant performance lap after lap. :thumb:

Indeed. It its the Spies + R1 package that is successful at the moment in WSB and Camier + R1 package in BSB. The rest of the other new R1 riders have yet to harness the maximum from their bikes due to their old riding style on the normal firing order Inline 4....

comparison of k9 vs k8 suzuki in terms of torque and hp by an aussie tuner. i was surprised at the results:cheeky:

OMG...that k9 put out 180 to the wheel....wowww....so big power, but look at the curve, the low-mid rpm is weak....some mag tester also report that weak low rpm power

*just in case u guys missed out, the tuner was trying to point out that the k9 made 1 hp less than the k8.
