that means the bike, they transport it immediately to shops with dyno machines, and ask the mechanic to run in for u, for a fee of course.

and from there they can do hard-run in or something

Actually the golden starnut is used to push down the top crown so that it will be "pressed" against the steering cone tube, after that the crown or so called top yoke will have another set of bolts on both side to tighten to the fork tube. After the 2 bolt is tighten, the golden star nut don't really have much purpose. The steering cone itself has another 2 latched nut to secure and double lock by itself. But of course still have to tighten the gold starnut so that in the event the steering cone's latched nut is loosen, there is still the gold star nut to prevent it for futher loosening.

Hi bro, as what shaunz said that hard run in is done on dyno machine. Meaning that they will run in your piston for u at at fee of around 100 for about half an hour or so .... after which u can whack your bike already.

But even though it has been proven by many testimonies, experts and even local riders saying that it is and indeed is more hp gain through hard run in, but it is not really recommended by many mechanics. Reason being is that the side effect of it is the engine's lifespan may be shorten. (no offence to those who believe in hard run in's and don't intend to start a debate here)

What say u

i think there are also a few riders here who are very informative as well. Just that they seldom post due to work commitments or other reasons

sorry to hear that. But u can call your bikeshop and ask them whether did they tow back your bike due to whatever reasons.

If not file a police report. If other bike shops or tow truck tow your bike, u can charge them for "unauthorization of removing the vehicle without the owner's authority".

usually you go make police report and see

coz if it was towed, they should/have to report to the police one
