Sounds like a head gasket problem. If the temp light is on, it could point towards coolant seeping into the engine and burning, thus giving off the white smoke. I could be wrong, of course, but if I'm right, you'd best have a look at the gasket, otherwise the piston will warp beyond repair. Hopefully it's just the gasket, and not a cracked head.

All the best.

Could also be burning engine oil.

Maybe the piston rings got problem.

Maybe the cylinder head cracked.

Anyway will mean removing the sparkplug and making an inspection to find out what is causing the problem.

On my previous bike that have a cracked cylinder head, allowing coolant to enter the chamber, the engine would not start easily. And when started, coolant was seen bubbling fro the joins in the exhaust pipe.

high chance piston ring wornout or gaskets leaking resulting in engine oil burnt off. you never do jettings for the carb isit? white smoke is always a danger. black smoke is safe. excess fuel/oil burnoff.

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.
