Change the rear wheel to a smaller(radius) one and you get better acceleration.

Change it to a slimmer one and you get better top speed.

all speedometer read high, approx. 5~10% (+) higher.

the higher speed, the more error.

u want to know wat's the actual speed.

buy one of those bicycle digital speedometer, like sigma.

u have to measure the circumference of front tire n input to the meter.

it has an error of approx. 0.5~1% but after some tire wear will increase to >2% need to re-calibrate again.

I think that by you mean changing the front sprocket to a smaller teeth you will you get better acceleration. By changing the rear wheel to a smallersprocket, you will get more top speed.....provided your engine has enough power to crank the bike:thumb:

One question to all YBR riders: does your chain loosen easily? I need to adjust it every 2 to 3 months, that sounds pretty frequent to me.

Right now the chain is so stretched that I only have got 3 markings left to go. After that, I'll need to replace it.

i think u pick up alot n do u oil your chain

I oil my chain irregularly. Either 1000 km or 1500 km.

Will releasing the clutch improperly (say, too fast) lead to chain lengthening?

my aim is a bigger bike! of course must get cheap2 bike to learn.... ybr.. low fuel consumption... i only need to top up once a week!... not so fast... always within speed limit... i can "speed" with no worries of being caught on candid 'camera'...

oh darn..... i went to jb to tighten chain n lube it (1 ringgit. i regular, so free..hehe) n the mechanic told me i chipped one of the "teeth" of my sprocket n cause chain to tighten/ loosen randomly... cost rm80 to replace 1 set. still cn ride, wont feel any difference but the worst part is my fc is so high nw. jus rode 100km n slightly more den 1/4 of my fuel gone... i tink partly caused by 4t oso. i used the non syn 4t cost rm10.

For my first pump, i got abt 48 - 50KM/L.. impressive i must say.

The problem is, i dont know when the tank goes to reserve. hence i dont have much idea when i need to top up before calculating the FC. This is true for subsequent re-fueling.
