yeah not much to do to increase the speed. btw what suspensions you're using? is it the stock one? mine was the stock one and then it made some noise then I change a few months ago, and it still made noise. sound like those "cracky" doors. is the suspension not good or its cause by others?

I changed mine to a YSS suspension recently. Honestly the stock pair wont last you long especially if you riding with 'weight' most of the time. Previously i was using a wrong type of suspension which cause the spring to grind with the chains.

Quite a simple job to change the pair by urself.

Hey, just like what crazy dj suggests.. Lets have a meetup session for Singapore's YBR riders. It'll be great to exchange knowlege, tricks and tips on improving our bikes. I'm personally riding a 06 black YBR.

Lets meet up at the F1 pit stop area. the corner facing the sea.

Time and date to be decided.

Do suggest if your think of nicer locations.

I feel the YBR is really an underated bike and that itself is a cool factor. It'll be nice to meet the people owning and caring for this humble and lonely bike. =)

We should really have coffee session or something... Wonder if ex ybr rider welcome or not.. Own a couple of ybrs before..

Yes EX owners are very much welcome too. You will be the most lao jiao when it comes to this model. LOL

I need to know where to find the round headlight for our bikes. and the touring screen that wraps around the headlight kind. I plan on touring on my ybr125.

yes coffee session at LC coffee shop?

Anyway I stay in the west. Teban Gardens to be exact.

Yesh, a couple of ybrs.. Round headlight can be found in most bikeshop.. They will give you the superfour headlight and bracket that clamps around the fork, about 140 complete set.. Its not an original honda parts.. Made in thailand or china..

Used to tour with my ybr till KL.. 110-130km/hr speed.. One of the disadvantage is the speed cos i usually tour at 170km/hr.. The footrest will make your legs ache.. So most of the time you will be using the pillion pegs.. The fun part is the offroad.. Lots and lots of endless fun.. Im staying amk/bedok..

Haha yalor... Why you own so many? You're the one who supply ybr to dispatch izzit?

Anyway guys. Lets set a date to have a coffee session. i'm thinking ambitious :cheeky: maybe one day we could all tour to thailand with YBRS. lol

I suggest next month to meet up. so we can have more ppl to go. Cause this thread is sooo ULUU.

What tires are you ppl using? I'm using the michelin pilot sporty. So far its great improvement over the metzler ones that came with the bike when i bought it. I'm wondering whether the rims can accomodate fatter and taller tires. it looks real skinny from the back. Looks like kap chai from behind.

I keep buying and selling.. Yeap.. Didnt really own more than one at the same time.. Sorry for the misunderstanding.. Didnt really have much mods on my ybr.. Using 14/38 sprockets.. Aftermarket air filter, iridium plus and tuned carbs.. Thats all.. Not sure if the broquet does add to its performance.. Manage to hit 140 with mod pipe..

What colours your bought? Would you consider the FI version? As for me, if you ask me to buy another YBR? Depends. If the FI one, perhaps. If another carb one, i think i will try other bikes.

oh.. Would you consider buying it all over again? So whats your transport bike now? When you mod already the acceleration got suffer? Overheat easily?

I think carb better mah.. easier to tune. FI got problem must bring to shop liao. FI must change fuel pump after some time too. :faint:

Eh so how. Next month if meeting got who going for coffee and riding session?

Currently riding hyosung comet gt125.. The FI is definitely a better choice.. But be aware that the tilt sensor is irritating especially when youre into playing bends.. Might be getting ybr again someday.. Coffee session next month anytime.. Just contact me.. Own black red and blue..

How much is the tilt when the thing will cut off your engine? Anyway, do you get leaking coming up from your top block? First i got it from the oil pressure screw. Then the exhaust tappets. Now i dunno where the leaks coming from already. I replace the gaskets, then few months later, another thing leaks. Anywhere else you think the leak will from from? I think now left is the cyclinder head side cover. Ideas?

I was thinking that if you had the time, you could create a real YBR page, complete with FAQ and all that. I always wanted to create one but i didnt have the time. :(

Yinghai..

Today hor, I went to 2 bike shops. Both tell me that tong pipe, which is make a hole in the pipe will not do any difference to top speed. I asked them if they would cut open the pipe and replace the tubing and foam. They said they wouldnt do it.

Which shop in sg amk autopoint does the mod pipe u were talking about? Could you give me their address ? I trust Sg mechanic more. Later go JB they also dunno what i want. Plus your that shop do still can pass inspection.

got one jurong mechanic told me that newer ybr125s are slower due to the electric not enough power. Dunno what he meant. CDI? If change to good CDI will increase power?

mechanic also said change carb to larger one would not help. I noticed 07 onwards the carbs are different from the 06 models. looks larger.

If YBR have legal aftermarket exhaust shiok hor? change the look and sound of the bike so much.

Look at this ybr vid in japan tp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhqHbXS9IHo
