totally agree, this actually works with air cool scooters too!

 

To be honest, exhaust wrap doesnt help in naked bikes especially ybr.. Basically useless.. Oil breather is ventilation for the blowby gas from the piston in the crankcase.. Most bikes have thier tube attached to the intake instead of venting out.. For oil breather mod is basically free to mod.. Unless you wanna have an oil catch can..

 

Any advice on exhaust wraps on PGO scoot?

 

mine scoot is air-cooled, thinkin if i shud do wraps in advance, for engine to last longer/better..

Maybe YingHai is right, what I felt might be purely psychological as I dont have any thermometer to measure the temperature, that would be the only way to be certain if it indeed keeps it cool. You can may be google and see for proofs.

 

Regarding rusting, I think yes, there is definitely high chance that the rate of corrosion will increase since teh material is fabric type and rain water will stay in it for sometime. For my bike, it was done by the previous owner, its not expensive at all, someone in the forum itself does CMO for it, I think 7$ per meter or something.

 

Also you search somemore in the forum, people have done it using kitchen alumimnium foil wrap and virtually

FOC lol, and they find it effective.

Yup I saw that too, its on this forum. someguys heatwrap their phantom with aluminium foil and hoseclips.

Bro, you got attend court before? I claim against another driver who bang into me in 2010. Then now, i have to attend court for a assessment and damages hearing because according to the lawyer and the bike shop, the other party did not make an offer for the damages. Is this normal? I don't wanna go to court leh. You know what will happen in court?

The new YBR 125 G actually looks quite good, guys! Kind of like a scrambler, if this bike is priced same as the current one, it has potential to become massive hit.

This bike is perfect for pt A to pt B with style. I would pick this anyday compared to a kup, a kup no matter how powerful, it is a kup end of the day, no style or pleasure.

Oh, I thought the Philipine model YBR125G will make it here.

This one also ok lah. Simple clean looks. The headlamp looks much better than the current YBR.

YBR is the cheapest. Pulsar is slightly more expensive but a whole lot more advanced and powerful yet fuel efficient bike. The new version Pulsar 200 NS tank is not so big only 11 ltrs.

 

Honda Tiger is solid bike with the legendary phantom engine, but more expensive than pulsar, but less powerful and old school than pulsar.

 

If you have the budget go for the pulsar. Pulsar and FZ16 same price, but pulsar is again more advanced and powerful.

 

Pulsar 200NS and FZ16 comparison:

 

FZ16 5 gears, P200NS 6 gears

FZ16 rear drum brakes, P200NS rear disk brakes

FZ16 air cooled, P200NS Liquid Cooled.

FZ16 Max power 14BHP, P200NS Max power 23BHP

FZ16 Max Torque 15.22NM, P200NS Max Toque 18.3NM

 

Actually there is no comparison haha, only thing that is comparable is the price both cost about 7k+ on road.

 

The only thing going for FZ16 is it is Yamaha.

Best go your trusted shop.. Get ybr with installment.. I know its not worth it.. But you get the bike faster than waiting for cash to come..
