you can use iridium.. engine oil i using ows with the 3 in 1 every servicing.. anyway, i just went malaca with ybr solo.. set off 3am reach there 6am... on the way there got road bully... reach there no malls was open so ended up eating macdonalds and make friends with the counter girls.. then roam around town.. and finally come back sg.. total fuel spend, less than 20 bucks.. next trip will be to KL with ybr.. any ybrians interested can pm me... i will be glad to share with you ways to increase power of the bike for touring..

Rectifier or alternater spoil? how to check that?

 

use a voltmeter.

For a 12 v charging system, usually the rectifier should pump out about 13 to 14 v(nothing more as it will upset the battery)

at stock, 130km/h very hard to reach that speed on the ybr, unless have some bros who got hit 130km/h stock

YBR-Yamaha Brilliant Riding

 

Got the bike for 1 week.Consumption too good...easily from 42 per litre to 48 depanding on your riding skill.I like it when the engine is warm up,the bike feel smoother and faster.Suprisingly,for a 125cc the performance is good.I did change the tire to meltzer for front and back.Dont like the taiwan made.Pillion most of the time with ease.On top of that,additional top box 45ltr.

Bike feels good to ride and i read the review,the maintenance is super cheap..Bike just need to change EO every 2k plugs after 5k thats all.Feel up petrol 95 will bring you miles after miles.Maneavour between vehicles is also a breeze.

I look forward riding it everday even i have my own car.

Today i was quoted 2.5k for FZ Plate, 3k++ for FBD Plate ... at A.S.Phooooon Changi Road. Min downpymnt is 500. Bal 2K Installment + interest fixed at $200/year. So = 2400/24mths = 100/mth

 

Do you think its ok or eX .. ??

& 2.5k for FZ plate(@changi Rd)

 

Both not yet ask for discount..just asking casually..

 

Which one should I go for?

My recommendation is not to get the Pulsar. Parts ah, headache. My work colleague last time his bike will stay in shop for days when wanna replace this and that.

 

Like he wanna replace his clutch plates, need to wait for the part to arrive, then he can send to workshop. My bike, any damn day i can just ride into the shop and within the same day, will get the bike back. Send in the morning, can get back in the afternoon.

the outlook looks ok..no bend or dent...but never on the enginne

yup machine price ....did not quote insurance....how much is the 3rdf party insurance roughly for 36 y o P-plate
