Hi guys, wandering if the tiger 800 n 1050 side panniers are the same. Anyone here selling or knows where I can get used or new?

The panniers on both models mentioned differ a lot.They are bike specific panniers and capacity differs too.The ones on e Tiger 800 are boxy & bigger than those on e Tiger 1050 Sport.Maybe u can browse through the sales section for a used one otherwise u can head down to Mah Motor for a new one. i managed to clock 19-20km/L on city ride. about 21km/L during highway.

 

Thanks for the reply... I have read an article about the tiger.. Most having problem with the bike overheating and paint from the engine "crack"...

Yes, you need a rack to put above the base plate, you cant mount your box directly.

I'm 1.69m with the seat on the roadie set to the lower setting, not too hard to handle. Just have to get used to the weight especially if you're coming off a 2b bike.

Hi guys, im going for my class2 now and thinking of getting a enduro road bike as i'm1.8m tall. Considering between f700gs and tiger800 and seems like tiger800 is better on the road. Where do u guys recommend i get it from and whats the otr price for it now?

There are 2 versions of Tiger 800, one is a roadie and one is an XC. Both 2015 new version can be view at Mah and Looi's motor.

Mah is the main Agent while Looi's is PI.

Warranty from Mah is 4 years, where Looi's I am not sure. With the COE sky high, currently the price is around $33K for the roadie and $35K for the XC. The 2015 model have a lot more things than those earlier models. Look for Gary from Mah Pte Ltd, he will be able to help you.
