Hello! Sorry if this topic have been posted multiple times but i cant seem to find anything that is more specific to my needs.

i'm 22 this year and i just got my 2B license. i'm looking for the cheapest (minimal loss) 2B bike until i secure my 2A license and subsequently upgrade to a 2A bike and ill most likely stop at 2A. :p

the main thing is cheapest as i'm still a student and wont want to spend too much on a 2B bike until i graduate and start work next year.

so can i seek your help in giving opinions on bikes that i should be looking at?

thanks in advance!

dun only look at the cost price of d bike... its more of the running costs and maintenance u hv to look out for as well.. for fuss-free and better FC, go for a 4-stroke... any cubs if u are small sized.. if big, either a 2 stroke or a large 4-stroke.. say a Pulsar, Tiger or a Phantom..

for me personally, i recommend a phantom. ta200 (4 stroke) if u are a relaxed rider like me, or ta150 (2 stroke) if u r a little naughty on the expressways.. cost is ard 1k, my insurance only 700+ (age 20).. guess urs will be a little lesser.. the weight n handling characteristics are a gd preparation for a bigger 2A bike like a Super 4.. gd to train..

running costs is good cux i only spend around $50-60 on petrol + ard $20+ for servicing engine oil every month.. so u shud be good for below $100 a mth to run d bike.. gd for even NSF like me.. :)

A ride a day, keeps the doctor away!

My question to you : "Do you desperately need a bike for transport" ?

If no, save the money, wait until you have your 2A license, get a better bike.

Hi all! i've got a question here! which option is more feasible? i just passed tp and im 21.

A: get a sp, either with 2013 coe or 202x coe, scrap or sell depending on the coe..

B: get a x1r, just ride till i get class 2A. which will be around 2013 as well..

i understand that once i get a transport, no matter how sure will lose money.. trying to see which option will lose the minimum. i will definitely upgrade to class 2A! SUPER 4!

i recommend rxk. cheap bike. won't lose much on resale 1 year later. won't heart pain if *touch wood* buang. it might not be nicest looking, unless you customize it, but if you plan to ride for a year only, its the cheapest temporary investment.
