I do mine at intervals of at most 5k, sometimes 3 to 4k, it makes it easier on the pocket since mineral oil not so expensive. Cleaning the air-filter regularly also important for me.

Chong Chong, show us some pics of the leak?

Cheers

Thanks Coolcat, cant see much with photos, I attached some diagrams for clearer indication, hope it helps. MTD changed the oil seal twice but problem still persist.

There was a gathering of BMW owners at prinsep street last night, counted at least 5 beemers when I passed by. Just wondering if they were from here.

The gathering was at Creperie des Arts, a French Breton creperie run by Johan Aubertin, brother of Nicholas from the BMWMCS.

Hey guys, I was at PML yesterday and I saw a "heartpain" damaged on this particular bike. If I'm not wrong it belongs to Gabriel & Theresa.

I don't want to describe in details how the accident took place but there was extensive bloodstains on the bike.

If you are here, I hope you are ok and get well soon...

I've gone on a ride with the local beemer club. They are nice people, fast riders tho. :)

Owner, if you want to know what goodies, best to ask PML themselves. I think that they would want to get sales too. Hmmm. .. that less than 1 kg carbon helmet ... keke

It simply means that BMW and PML are doing a good sales dude. Now that Japanese bikes are costlier due to rising YEN,I believe that BMW will even be a hit next year. The F800GS is just affordable. Salesman doing a good job. :thumb:

hah..looks like u will do well as the current PML salesman for you to say that..

though the bike wins all hands down.

The F65GS is a lovely machine. I nearly bought one when I wanted a Class 2 bike. You will need to study the very comprehensive chain-gang site i.e. http://www.f650.com :cheer:

There's eBay, and overseas BMW parts shops. PML is great, actually, because they will place you order for ya and it is clear what you are ordering, no hidden overseas freight and taxes. However, I have experienced some difficulty with PML for older parts or small orders. YMMV.

Reliable beemer mech, hmmmm, the usual suspects: M-Tech, Perfection Motors (recommended). The F650GS guys will know better.

Hi welcome, the f650 is a great bike..... common problems i have with my ex 650gs is the contacts of the starter switch and passing light beam switch, need cleaning and some alignment if you find that one day you press the start button and nothing happens.

didnt know that 1150r's muffler is a slip on. is it? no wonder owners can easily get rid of the cat con and put on a y-pipe and endcan ensemble.my 1100 's muffler and cat con are 1 unit.u have to torch it to separate them.

Besides the OEM BMW boxes for GSA.. are there any better looking ones? The ones i saw from other makes... just doesnt quite make the mark aesthetically.
