Pai, as far as I know, since the incident has happened, and now with all the security being arranged by the authorities, it would be even safer than without the security around. Niway its only a nite stay at Hatyai and the next day shoot to Ko Samui. We are staying at the Golden Crown Hotel nearby Lee Garden area...Hehehehehe....maybe can hear the bomb go off

Oh by the way I am riding with Encik Pat's group of 18 bikes :thumb:

Anyone can help me on this one...? Let's say if I don't have any records with PML for servicing or the

lapse from the last servicing was ages ago... Are there any certain criteria or procedure that I must have in order to get my bike serviced by PML? What are the charges like if I'm new to PML? I strongly

believe that appointment is a must...correct me if I'm wrong.

On the other hand, are there any workshops besides PML that do service beemers?

the question is, did u buy the bike from PML.?

M-technik service Beemers too.

you will understand my need for revenge and to inflict pain on those who have betrayed me

Wacko bro, to be honest I've no idea.. I got my year 2000 R1150Gs from Loois. Yes I've heard that M-tech do service beemers as well...

So is it right to say that PML priority are those who bought from them? So for my case, will they entertain? Thx bro

if your bike is not from PML, then you have to pay a $5000 adoption fee before they entertain you, thereafter your servicing charges will be 25% more than the usual charges of existing PML customers

wanna ride with madness?

hi guys.

i just got a gsa. and when i ride, the heat from the exhaust can really be felt on both feets (toe area), esp if one is wearing thin canvas shoes (or sandals). Anyone know of any heat shields or guards that can help to minimise this affect? any URLs to direct me to?

I tried touratech and wunderlinch and the closest they have is this splash guard.

totally agreed...+1

Hi BJ108 you have a very unusual question but I have to agree with papabread and madmax. It's for your own safety.

1991 - 1992 = Yamaha RD125LC YPVS

1992 - 1993 = Suzuki GSXR 400 K

1993 - 1994 = Yamaha Vmax1200

1994 - 1995 = Honda Magna 750

1997 - 2002 = Honda ST11 Pan European

2002 - 2010 = BMW R1150GS

2010 - ------ = BMW R1200GS

Hi bj108... papabread79 is right abt the shoe thingy for your own safety.

Another way to reduce the heat is to change out your org exhaust header as the 'cat' retains quite alot of heat within the bike exhaust system.

It's a $2k+ consideration to reduce heat...think the shoe is a cheaper option.

$2K option to reduce heat but does not solve the safety issue thingy...:(

buy a good pair of riding boots gets you

1. reduce heat

2. enhance safety

3. cash in your bank..:thumb:
