Hey guys! Hey guys! You all should try travellng along NS highway in the middle of the night. I cleared custom at 4.30am. I reached my wife's place (330KM away) at 7.05am. From GP to Ayer Keroh, the highway was almost clear of vehicles! HAHAHAHA. After Ayer Keroh, well, that's when I need to be really wary of other vehicles already. But from GP to Ayer Keroh .... sheer riding pleasure. Air was cool, full moon, not many vehicles. Shiok + Best! :thumb: :thumb:

Whoa lao...I've never taken less than 3 hours to reach KL b4. If u r saying u guys have been doing it consistently at two hours, I have no idea how u did that. There's no way I can speed at 150km/h constantly without fail for 2 hours. Unless u weave in and out, especially at the seremban-kl stretch, which wll be extremely dangerous at that speed. Or the most probable explanation is my skill is not there yet. But to me, 150 km/h is very fast already. Oh, and because of high speed, I seem to burn petrol faster too. There's only one Shell station available for my preferred V-Power fuel along the way, so I made a stop at Pagoh R&R for top-up. When I reach Pagoh, 5 bars gone, so I thought what-the-hell let's just top up again since V-Power is available.

As for drowsiness, believe me, I was very alert. Due to excitement, as well as worries, since 1st time riding in such a condition. Plus, I slept early prev night. I agree with the trucks issue. But there wasn't any close shave for me because 1) there ain't many vehicles, and 2) I was using high-beam for most of the journey, so can see quite far (of course when got vehicles in front of coming in opposite direction, then must be corteous and switch back to low beam lah). Speaking of lights, while riding this morning I thought of changing my stock headlight bulb to any of these 2:

1) PIAA H-4 55W Platinum Super White Halogen Bulb

2) PIAA Xtreme White H4 Anti-Vibration Bulb

Are these legal in SG? Will I pass inspection?

Hey RT, the other time u failed inspection due to ur lights. What's the actual issue? Is it because of white light as well?

Yep..... sure is nice n cool to travel at night

However, I would only recommend for those who have relatively good eyesight. Otherwise those puny lights of those trucks r going to get u into serious

sh*t :giddy:

2.5hrs ...... hmmmm....... u shld be travelling ave 130 - 140km/h. Very nice cruising speed for the RT

RT got himself a GS. Another GS-convert.

I already installed additional 2 Wunderlich Micro-Flooter under the engine air-intake. But I feel my headlight can be brighter, that's why thought of changing to PIAA white light bulb.

In fact....many a times when I glanced at my speedo, it was showing 180km/h. hehehehe. I've never been so bold b4. Only when there's not many vehicles on the road.

But after Ayer Keroh slows me down.

And I notice the wobbling again. I'm very sure it's not becoz of cross-wind, coz I more or less know by now what wobbling caused by cross-wind feels like. This one feels like either the tyre or the suspension or the handle is loose. I know Chua checked for free-play and detected none. I did the same when the bike is stationary, neither can I feel any free-play. So, maybe it's something so tiny or minor that it only happens at high-speed. I will point it out to the mechs the next time I send in for servicing lah. Since they do their own testing, I'm sure they can feel it themselves.

RT, the lights issue with the inspection, is it becoz of white lights or what?
