crazy volt

i ride a sp . recently i ride around my bike underseat like burning my ass . den i went to check my battery for the volt , idle is 14 V , when i rev is 18 volt can hit 19 volt . i know normal ref should be 14 volt only right? the rectifier spoil? but still can recharge if i dont change will it do harm to my bike?

bike off.. good battery around 12.3 v...

 

may be u shoud check your battery...when bike is turn off...if voltage more than 13 volts..swomething not right..

 

the efects of above voltages will shorten your electrical/electronix devices..

 

if your rectifier out put is like 18v...most probably this is faulty..

Better becareful, 18V is WAY overcharging it. 15V already consider overcharge.

If your output is really 18v or more, then all your bulbs would have been blown by now.

There is no way that is going to happen to your battery when connected to your bike. That is why the title of the video is "12v battery being overcharged on AC current"

rectifier burnt , CDI spoil, valve spoil , lights n signals all blown up. wiring also burnt. now, its a lesson learn for me to change rectifier costing 70 rather den waiting for it to burnt and spent 300 plus . take it as a lesson to all. haha mod please close =)

when you overload electronic devices..from 12v to 18v..a 50 % increase..

the devices going to be burnt..

but it is surprising that devices lasted so many days though..wih such an overload..
