Hi bro, with ur fcr and hotcams whats ur cruising speed when u head up?

Hey man. Depending on conditions. I'm not sure you feel the same thing but i find the turbulence at 1pm-3 is the worse? Can barely maintain 120.

But morn or eve time,I can cruise at 120-130 kph pretty comfortably, sitting bolt upright. How about you?

I only encounted terbulence when entering the windy zone, other then that its str8 forward stable.

Maby cuz of the heavy things i bring along and the fat tank :) oh an im 70kg maby that kinda help too.

I cruise at 120-130. 175km/hr?! Nice, i only manage to hit 160 on my stock engine.

Ya that's the top speed anyway. Only once in a while I go to that speed. Mostly on the NSHW max at 150 at short sprints la.

I must say the reason why we got our bikes wasn't for the top speeds rite...just to have greater fun than most other bikes....

If ur talking abt the lta cert for ur exhaust, u might wanna call them and check. I think they can re-print ur cert but u will need all other papers for the exhaust fm the distributor. If other papers like manual etc2, maybe u can get them fm distributor.

Hey Guys,

I'd like to check with everyone, has anyone encounter this problem;

"When you turn the ignition of your bike to 'off' the bike does not die off, including the electrical supply."

I had to remove the connection from the battery just to power down my drz.

Any idea what in the world is wrong?

Fuse? Wiring?

Million Thanks Guys.

Hi DRZ riders! My brother just obtain his 2A and is looking into DRZ. However he is only 163 tall. Is there any way to reduce the seat height?

Hey man don't need to reduce height la. Unless he's really uncomfortable with it. Some people stop at traffic light kang kang also still enjoy riding SM's. Hehe

I went with my brother to see him try out the DRZ, and he couldn't even reach the ground by tip toeing. He seems really interested in the bike although facing the height issue. Hence I would appreciate if any riders here have a solution to it. Plenty of appreciate.

Yes, despite the method you mention he still can't reach the ground. Thanks for the link! I did came across it through my research but I aren't sure how much it will lower the seat height as the original seat height is 890 if I remember correctly.

Thank you, I'm sure anyone with siblings will dote on theirs ya.

Err have any DRZ rider here use the lowering links on their bike? Please do share you experenice if possible. Thank you!

Hi there

I am about 165cm @ 50kg and I can tiptoe w/ some struggling when I was still on the stock seat height.

Before I bought my bike, I did alot of research on lowering the seat height.

3 methods most commonly mentioned:

1) cut seat

2) lower suspension

3) lowering links

From what I read, should try the above 3 methods in order(if the previous method is unable to solve the problems)

I had my seat cut, and sides tapered at Eugene Saddlery.

With that, I can comfortably tiptoe with flat shoes, on both sides.

When I wear my SAF boots, I can almost "flat foot" the ground.

Of course, after cutting seat, the rider's buttock must be able to tahan a "hard" seat, because the sponge become significantly lesser, which will cause the rider's buttock to easily touch the plastic support of the seat.

Besides height, weight of the rider is also important.

I believe raptor have mentioned before that he has stocks of the lowering links. Not sure whether he still has them now.

IMO, the bike is considered light, thus a slight tiptoe will give enough stability.

I also believe I've came across on the TT forums, someone mentioned that their gf/wife @ 15x cm tall can ride the DRZ comfortably with the lowering links.
