2011 SMSA/BRS (below 200cc series)

There are plans to have a below 200cc race...this is to groom young upcoming riders into the sportsbike scene or riders who doesnt have big enough a budget to race in the superbike series...

this series will be open to all bikes up to 200cc(2 strokes/4stroke sportsbike/naked bikes for the time being will be together),the likes of KR,SP,NSR,RS125,YZF125,R150 are eligible.

the minimum number of competitors is 10 to get the series up.

SMSA race license is required .

so far we have already 7 riders,another couple more this series will be a reality.

SMSA requires 10 riders before they will start this series...so far theres 7 riders and 1 having crashed recently ,that makes 6...I put it up here hoping to get a gauge but as u notice only you came up as being keen...

Calling SMSA ,Janet will not be aware of the discussion about the series nothing being firm up as such...surprisingly given the amount of 200cc we having zipping around...

SMSA 1st race will be held on 6th March...so theres still time to see the response meantime all the 125s and 150s are still in the below 400cc series....

but its a tricky one now...SMSA wants to see 10 with smsa license before they give green light for below 200..if rd 1 cant make it..i try to get it up for rd 2...but i need a firm number of riders

Bro, hopefully the 10 participants target would be met. i'm keen in joining the race. I've obtained the forms for the application of the license. Just count me in. Please keep me updated on this. appreciate if you could inform me at the earliest possible time so as i can do the necessary arrangements / preparations.

Hi ...unfortunately it looks like Rd1 the below 200cc race is not in as the minimum amount of riders are not met...round 1 is on march 6th,n have already been finalise

i will arrange a time with smsa and discuss with them more on this series,lets see what they actually want before they start this series

they want a firm 10 riders...

those who have obtained a form,plse hold on to it but u can still join round 1 but we be racing under 400cc ,i be racing with my RS125 against the 400 (like as if i care about them :p)...

im pushing hard for this series n i hope it will become a reality ,planning to start a new series is such a ***** ...

hmmm 200cc. how many riders u have now ? since round one started so we wont see 200cc series this year ? didnt know about this, if not can add 1 more bike. if race with 400cc kinda off =x

i been waiting for this since i have my 2b license n now its becoming a reality so i hoping we get a good number of riders to keep the 2 stroke journey on even after its been abolished in GP races
