what's cicio personal review on the samco sport hose? Spd triple looks compact, very "muscular".... very arrow "shorty" blend in well, would like a similar setup on mine as well.

Thanks for the compliment mate, yes the set up seem to look real sturdy due to its shorter wheel base thus makes it a little on the steroid looking bull dog, well on the "smaco hoses" my take be just an eye candy thingy and its composite that be able to withstand much extreame temp i suppose. i had to replace my older ones cause the old black ones were beginning to looking real brown after for not riding some time.

Alfaz I ain't sure bout getting it cooler but try ice blue coolant , they dun make it to east the heat but reduce the time to cool down faster after riding. Another option is wear balls guard ! Lol kidding.

Me just got back from riding with few pals, was a cool breezy night with the ratios n cheese prata.

Elmarz most CBR riders tend to stick to their honda bikes even after ditching their old ones, it's called loyalty and being comfortable with it's make. those bikes r reliable in many sense ,but once in awhile must try something else, can't be chees prat a daily aight haha....

I heard of Muzzy Alu Fan blade for CBR from my frenz, which improve the cooling efficiency... Another modification which I heard of installing a bigger fan or dual fan on the radiator.

In sg there's too many controlled junction where we stop n go, that situation really drive the temperature up real fast... the amtmospheric temperature plays a part too.

Oh my colleague too riding a CBR-XX, really a cool bike but very big in size its more of sports tourer in nature... whopping 160+bhp

what a scene, you with a 1.3 litre engine between your legs...

wooo... my Hornet looks a wee bit longer and "fat" as well... do you meddle with your own repair work?

Perhaps those hose have a much better pressure resistance too?

Any where nice to ride around in sg?

i do tweek hee n there but nothing major as i`m still learning bout my set up.

hmmm good place to ride !!! , i am not so particular bout locations and usually those rides arre to town or to changi V, i reside in the west and to travel to the east be a ideal choice to clock some milage. not hit north south much yet tho.

Maybe it be a good idea if we have time for a simple teh tarik meet up n get ourself intro and ride alittle soon!

what you guys think ?

needless to debate , if u have made a direct comparision on both bikes , im sure u`d know by now that the street is one of the very best naked middleweight bike.

even tho i do not have a first hand experince on the street triple and based on my other triple riders sharing , ive yet to hear a major complaint on the bike.

but being an open guy to all bikes i tend to say the Kawa is also a good choice in terms but not as agilie as the street would be. i dun intend to get into details here now cause my mind`s all muddled up with some other bike i`m trying to land myself in. kekeke

Ok dok just for u ,, gosh truimph should be paying me for commenting on thier bikes now ~ lmfao

the facts are of my own findings n i speak for myself in these (have to cover my ass) mainly good findings.

plus points:

1. its a good looking british bike

    2. torque is awsome n its 3 cylinders

    3. enuf grunt to take a fully faired middlewieght on the track

    4. yet makes it easy to commute daily

    5. very agile

and there is more to it

    minus points:

    1. colour schemes can be better

    2. shoud have done a single swing arm like the older bro

    3. suspension is a little soft ( get ohlins) for serious riding

    4. got to get used to its riding position

    5. gets hot real fast

    6. i think it suits a female more than for a guy ( thanks to angelina jolie)

well i think im safe to end it here for you to decide dok...

lol pretty silly that I have a bike but not sure where to go ...

I'm good to go with teh... but I'm on shift, which can be a huge disappointment at times. By the way I happen to know that there's actually two model : Speed Triple and Street Triple. One differences are the rear swing arm, watch the battle of Z750, FZ6, Hornet 600, Duke Monster and Triumph Triple on MCN... Triumph Triple claim victory.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

the other big diff btw the two triples is , speed is 1050cc and the street is 675cc. the street is a very agile bike and yet very torquey too , to take on battles with the bigger bikes. thus it wins in many pointers.
