I can't see that I will sell my STR until I have to leave Singapore ( again ), or I lose my license.....which ever comes first.

Yup.. i was going down lornie- upper thomson- devils bend last nite..

 

The bike is surprisingly small.. it feels so light on the move. power is so much more from 4k rev up

city riding is not as gd as the street, the heavy clutch is taking a toll on me..

And the dry clutch with slipper is making moving off from lights a challenge.

 

Funny thing is i dun seem to find much diff in terms of wind blast between the 2.. even when the SF have no head cowl, while my STR had cowl+visor...

I for one am looking to buy a big naked bike.

 

am 1.8m. currently riding a super 4

finding it good, but legs cramped

 

thus looking for a physically bigger bike which is taller, make my legs more comfortable.

 

candidates so far are the FZ1 and Monster.

 

Any other candidates I should consider?

I would love to own either the new Speed Triple or the new Z1000.

 

I do however, own a truely great bike that performs brilliantly everyday. Street Triple R. I have no need to get a bigger bike as this one more than adequate.

CB400SF very nice all rounder... despite not much of a changes in outlook all these years still attract lots of attention in singapore. Got a similar bike, loving every minute of it. Haha, wonder if any of you guys rode the all new suzuki GSR750?

well its slightly bigger than a CB400 side by side..Does that mean its a 1300? haha...just like to see the real 1300 flesh and bone.

They say its one of the last remaining big-bore naked bikes that are un-changed. Maybe because of the air-cooled engine.

I saw a XJR1300 once in Yamaha show room, it is the overall size that set it apart from the 400cc little brother
