dakar, why worry abt wat ppl say?

i was stopped many times by phantom, s4, even st11 riders askin i am da pro dero...mostly said we r 1 of da most on 2b ard for touring bro...n last week on my usual jb pumpin alone, stx13 abg wif his wife said adik lu power ah bro dgn p-plate n pannier can squeeze lah....hehehe!

use scottoiler anti corrosion fs365 1 litre spray $18 at motor world, i use it on my 3yr old bike, still look good but certain part of da bike will still rust no matter how you take care of it due to our climate.......

Wah. lau eh.....reading your post is extremely tiring. It is so difficult to decipher the short form in your language, moreover, don know when Malay, or English or Hokkien.

Can type a little more and use proper spelling ? Thanks.

thinking of changing the speedo sensor cos tt time went to paul and he said the speedo prob might ne caused by the sensor. wanna check out the price wif davidsilvespares which cause abt $150+.....

Yo brothers!....something to share...could you believe this...my mileage for a full tank is 39km per litre....i pump at JB....then i go exploring Gelang patah...on the way back to Singapore...at GP...i pump again..this time around my mileage was 35km per litre....WOW! ....Double jump from my previous reading which is 24km per liter....Huz can be my witness!....ehheheheheh......

yo dudes,

i went 2 ah wah & replace my old sucky paper wif new sponge type air filter $40, it take abt an hr to do everything den i immediately tried blasting my bike at tpe all da way to cte 110km but feels like real go, but ya try den u know wat i mean...hehehe!

here is da price list of svc i did wif him

1. oil filter $10

2 air filter $40

3. engine oil fully syn $16

4. spark plugs $8

all includes labour & gst....cheers 2 dat..

According to varadero XL125V maintenance manual, engine oil capacity is about 1.3ltre. So $16 for full syn is a damn good deal. Based on the engine oil prices posted in this forum, one of the cheapest full syn is Esso Gold $15/L at Kuang Tai Lee.

den abt engine oil ya need 2 bottle 1st change 1 & half da other half bring over to next svc.

i was wonderin is it better to use semi syn for v-twin cuz long stroke but all da while i am usin fully syn....
