Need to asked something from u guys..Can our handle bar be changed to ProTaper handlebar?(Any of u guys had seen or changed your handle bar and if yes what is the cost..)

yes...in fact currently newtsuit using pro taper handlebar....

cost price not so sure....think less $200....not so sure...

Maybe you can take a look at TAG METAL handle as well.

Model - X5 selling at $90 w/installation.

Shop - Vector One (next to Ducati showroom)

 

You dont need the universal mount cause it fits the standard mount.

that's what i think too....dunno why it is so pricey...

if u change handlebar also u'll need some risers and other brackets....

 

better change other things....like what Daniyal mentioned....

just to add on...

 

1) Scot Oiler (we are in the process of making a similar product that works the same way but cost only about $30+)

2) Windsheild

3) Side pannier + side box (but cannot squeeze already)

4) Crash bar (next project on the schedule)

5) Bmw grip

6) Hand Guard (acerbis got some new designs...can explore other brands also)

7) Paste Stickers

8) Seat (perhaps get like those design in french websites...)

9) Fog Light (good if u frequent NSH...especially at night)

10) Mainstand (next project >>planning to fabricate)

11) Hazard Lights (some of the guys already had it)

Not sure if you are aware that there are two such products by our fellow forumers. One is Simple Oiler by "vchua", and the other is labbit chain oiler by "labbit". All within your budget.

my current one is AFAM wif additional steel bridge u can get it at motorworld, there is oso ACERBIS fat bar but gotta change ya clamps....

 

btw only me, varamax, niti, mixmaster, pingster hv hazard lite courtesy of uncle ah wah at ghc yishun....

 

dunno any outriders got do elsewhere?

 

side box u can get at 219 lavender shop or givi chaip lee prices from $300-upwards, but if ya richie rich den get H&B panniers $700-$1500 aluminum box....hehehe!

 

main stand m-teknik got 2 pcs left $230 wif installation, motorworld, bike tech gotta order n wait long long wif deposit...

 

 

fog lites, mines hella comet 450 u can get a pair for $70 at lavender car shop da v1king recommanded, installation can do at ah wah, weldin, wiring, groundin n etc....

For ur changing of ur horns... Just keep the stock one for inspection. But dun get caught on the road.

1)how is the vara 125 "performance" when going up a slope? I'm currently riding a wr200. with a pillion, when going up slope say like the ecp, it feels heavy (thus not comfortable). my bike has a box also.

 

2)going to register my 2A soon....so thought of getting a super 4, cause gf is not comfortable on the scram. is there any riders out there kind enough to let me test ride one so i can make a better decision in what bike to get? hoping to test the bike as a rider and a pillion as well.

vara125, like most 2b bike, do have problem on slope, 'by problem i dont mean.. it cant do it' heck, we ride up genting on our vara125, daniyal & dakar with pillian ... was it an easy ride up.. (to genting) well it aint the smoothest...

on ecp.. going uphill... when i ride alone.. aint that bad... (i suppose that the same too for your wr200)...but with a pillian.. its a whole different thing althogether....frankly.. i htink its going to be the smae as your wr200, except... you and your pillian.. will have a much comfortable ride.. (more of the pillian.. i noticed.. pilian seat is just too comfortable....)

 

About testing a vara125, well unless were in JB... i dont mind u trying it.. then i can also test out ur wr200, in sg.. too much complication...
