Hi bros, fz16 newbie here. Just would like to ask, have anyone ever experience your clutch cable tension getting softer hence making your biting point nearer and nearer to the handle? According to some i asked they said it may be due to the clutch cable wear and tear. As such i changed the clutch cable and adjusted my biting point to make it further. After about two weeks i noticed the same thing happened. The biting point gets nearer and nearer. Any advice on what i should do? I mean i know that from time to time you have to adjust your biting point but one two weeks isnt it too fast?

Go back to the shop that did changes to your clutch cable, I suspect it might be something else other than just the cable itself. I have yet to experience whatever you are experiencing.

Belly pan and fork guard for cosmetic, changing your handlebar to renthal handlebar if you like wider handlebar, wind guard for speedometer.

If I am not wrong, there is this brand called Shinko that gives bigger rear size (i used to have this before I changed over to pirelli demon sports tires), alot of ppl have always told me that the bigger the tires, the more drag there will be, the pros will most probably be better handling. The one I used to use had lesser line threading and I was told it will cause easier skidding.

hey bros , i like to share i use 95 unleaded petrol for my fz , so far after 1 yr plus ok leh. no need to use until top grade 98..

I tried using 98 before and it only made FC lower to 30ish/L, 95 gave me better FC as compared.

Guys I got a noob question to ask. I recently bought a fz16 and I'm having problem to get the bike off from main stand. I tried to mount onto and push it down however to no avail. Therefore the only way for me is ,to push down the bike by pushing the handle from standing position. I just wonder if there's anyone able to push down the bike when is on mount position? As I'm worried that the bike might fall if I kept on doing the "handle bar push " method. Really noob question.

I do not have that problem, all I can say is I suspect that you are still not used to the bike's weight, position etc, I can get the bike off the main stand be it from handle bar push or mounting position, try to get used to it. If you suspect that main stand might be a bit tight, try putting your bike to side stand and try fiddling the main stand with your hands, if it is too tight, you might wanna consider lubricating your main stand's moving parts. I had the same problem in handling my bike when I just got it but after getting used to it's weight, I had no more problem.
