I only know Azzy did change to a wider tyre. Anyone else can drop a note to confirm what is the one up size for the front and rear? I suspect the FZ odd size would thus mean the stock tyre would be expensive to change in future.

 

our current size is 100/80/R17, 140/60/R17

we can go 1 size bigger by using 110/70 R 17, 150/60 R 17, this size is more common becos its was use by aprilla rs 125 ..

Anyway stock tire brand is MHR. Heard this brand veri bad feedback. I dont feel good riding with this too... If we able to use 150/60, we can use battlax bt90. but additional 5mm each side, it might hit the rear hugger... that's a big concern for us.

The stock tyres are MRF just like our pulsars bro. Haha. They are hard compound and so they have bad grip but very long lasting like 40,000 kms+ and better FC. Its always a trade off hard compound less grip more life and higher FC. Soft compound more grip less life and less FC

 

In India speeds are low and it doesnt rain all year long and nobody will lean down while taking a turn and so chances of skidding are low.

yea..mrf sucks..plus e wax dey put on new tyres..make it more slippery. fz16 bro..change ur tyres asap if u usin e stock ones(especially if u r new to riding)..very easy u will ski on the road..hehehe

Yeah man bro... It's MRF. I feel the difference from my previous ride. My 1st bike daelim uses bridgestone battlax, after changing to this, the feel on grip is quite different. gonna change in 3-6mths times. will do a burnt out to before changing ^^

I dun tink ders any oem toprack for yamaha bikes..from wad i noe..there is an oem yamaha sideracks n panniers but dey cost a bomb. Ders onli racks which are compatible for our bikes eg; sw motech, givi. U can also custom made ur racks at SK or banhockchin if u do not alrdy noe. Juz sharin

 

sorry i tink u get me wrong.. wat i mean is there rack that fit nicely for fz16 mounting, to swap out the pillion grip.

its can always be custom to any bike though its so call for FZ1, anyway that same pannier is wat FJR are using...

Yep, Daelime roadwin Naked version ^^. I took it out already. I sold due to illegal pipe x.x. Now LTA very hardworking + the illegal mod fine has raise to 1k. That' why change to FZ16 and sold of that.

Today when down there, asked them for one. I believe the one i ordered should be somewhat like bro azzy. Will be collecting it tmr !

 

Anyway who today go auntie shop ar? I saw one FZ16 guy with white FF helmet de. Pplate I saw him cos when to auntie shop then go down to 219 for rim lining sticker.

Haha bro, maybe in 3-6mths time before changing. Most likely will hit tio 1k distance and try some burn out. I think bridgestone battlax bt090 150/60 can install, just veri scare will kana hugger nia. Cos our hugger and tired the gap quite near.

Why siao sia bro? Today gone to too many place for my baby fz liao. BUT! This baby is too young that the shops have yet to bring in it's clothing for it. lol. Headlight protector also dont have. Asked FZ1n de can fix or not, mech say cant!, too big liao LOL.

 

I think this month project is done. Rim lining, Tank Bra, Koso Mirror, radiator mesh, IU carbon sticker. LOL. Pok liao. Big hole in pocket.

 

Next month project would be Renthal handlebar,Motivation bar end, Rizoma/Driven handgrip.

My FC Damn jialet. 1st tank i think 330km, the meter start to blink with one bar left, i see liao also sian. then go pump full tank see, pumped 9litre. So most likely one full tank can hit 370/400km lor. haha. Our tank is 12litre inclusive of reserve?

Just to help you all to ask for a cheaper price if u guys wanna do it together. Maybe u guys wanna suggest any design or have it in ur mind?

 

I've done mine, just waiting or my turn to install. Bro Godsend is quite busy, so drag till wed. My cos like 65 like that for custom design. If u guys wan to join the MO, come up with different design and chose. All the 5 radiator mesh will be the same design, so you guys might wan to discuss abt it. Simple design is cheaper of cos.

What colour did u get for yourself? Are there many colours and designs to choose from ?

maybe tank gauging may not be accurate for ur meter.. go over HL n complain ler. OR like on my 1st visit, 1 rider had his meter chg due to faulty reading. Take pics of e problem for evidence.
