Hi, just wanna ask will any modification affect the free servicing provided by HL. Will servicing be void due to modification?

 

Nop, it will not affect the free servicing provided by HL. Like i've mention in the previous post, they go case by case basis. If u still dont feel easy with that, but wans to do some mods, go and consult hong leong to have a more definite ans. I've been back to HL to do some of my parts regard the front and rear brakes, they are willingly doing it for free. But still i've do some mods like changing the mirror, adding tank bra and doing the mesh guard. So it's still up to you and the shop to define ur warranty.

Yep, that's wat i think so. But the according to the HL Mech told mi case by case basis, I'll just take wat he mention to mi. As long as i dont touch the engine, I should have my warranty covered for engine, as for the rest, i'll just change accordingly. It's not fair for u to change ur handlebar and ur piston jam and they count it as warranty void. I think they are fair enough to access the problem for you. But still think wisely before proceeding in any mods u wan. Check with ur mech/ HL mech see wat they reply you. Words given out from them, they are not able to take it back. So u would still be on the adv side.

Haha... dont need so urgent to do run in bro. It's rainy days, not wise to do due to wet road. Can avoid just avoid. Best to do it on the morning where there's no rain. Since u just got ur bike, u might not be familiarise with it. Run-in can be easily clock. U can go round half singapore and that will add up almost 50-60km already. Head to town and go back home could easily clock up to 30-40km also. Just my 2ct No offense bro.

The accessories price is affordable, but shipping price is expensive.

I've asked regarding the front fender.

 

Front fender = $38

shipping by dhl = $68.

 

 

And only if they have shop or partners in Batam or Tj. Pinang. Can take ferry go and buy. But most are at Jakarta and Bandung.

BTW, just from personal experience, a distributor for one of my previous rides voided my warranty as I installed a hella horn. They claimed it was installed wrongly (relay was used btw) and when my battery failed in less than a year, they would not give warranty for it. This is solely for FZ bros as "for your kind considerations" when doing mods. Surely way is not to do mods - next best is to make sure reversible or after warranty period.

Do check with them by when must finish all three servicing. I asked them last Saturday and how they say no time limit. If cannot clock the next 3k, they say just come back every 4 months.

Should be able to clock ba.. every 4 months like quite long lol... Most likely is either i clock every 2k change or 2.5~3mths change one time already. I think for the run-in and just after run-in period, must change quite often. Else too many crumbies inside the piston will jialet. lol

of coz i recommend hepco la..hahaha..coz its e louis vuitton of boxes..hahaha..since u gona put it helmet..givi v35 or k33 will look nice coz dey r shaped nicely. i got a fren he bought those luggage kinda material softcase type from chiaplee..its coocase brand i tink..wif rack about 400+..side rack nt universal..top rack can be universal coz got baseplate. i duno how e v35 n k33 fix on the bike..but SK will noe if u tell dem wad box u wana put..afterall, urs wont be e 1st bike dey fixed a sidebox on
