According to chinese face reading, typically moles on the face r generally not a gd for the fortune. Moles on face also spoil the appearance of the person.... Its better to remove them if possible....

I have lost many confidence with doctors since recent news. Agree: spend money on bike.

i think it would be wiser to seek a doctor's advice before removing as some moles may be cancerous :/

I sampled the services of the shop at Yishun. Advice to all is either seek a doctor opinion or to do A LOT of research on the mole removal procedures as the operation itself is the easy part.

The post-op healing process is NOT easy and takes a long time. You need to know what to do to minimise scar tissue and ensure healthy skin grows back. The shop is equipped with quite low technology tools (no laser, guys, it's electric needle cauterisation) and DOES NOT provide any post-op advice or medication. You're on your own.

I would recommend the shop at Yishun for people who know insider tricks of the beautician's trade and can customise their own post-op recovery procedure. You need to not only maintain a strict diet but also buy products off the shelf to help the healing process. It's crucial. Or hire someone else (another beautician) to oversee your post-op recovery, which is not cheap.

For those who are really curious, can PM me for the things to look out for post-removal and how to help the skin grow over the cauterised area. You feel good when the clots first fall off the removed mole areas but that's where the real battle starts. Don't take care of the area properly and you get a big, deep scar.

Be aware that any complications or dissatisfaction with the results will be VERY expensive. That's why for a hi-tech beauty salon, mole removal can cost up to $2000 (entire face - a total cleanup) but this includes a very comprehensive package including professional advice/monitoring and supporting products and therapy. Just so you get a smooth, picture perfect face, not one that looks like an artillery target. Just saying.

(If you are REALLY curious about how I know the above, well, I tried it and got advice from other beauticians I know as well. Erm, the $5000 kind, not $50 one)
