Hi guys, i've got this two carbs

i'm thinking to put on my sonic 125.

 

which one wud u recommend?

anyone tried both on one bike before?

 

i heard that pwk is hard to set on a 4stroke cub? is it true?

Bro, I think PE SP is well suited for Sonic because my friend says that PE SP carb is the basic mod for Sonic. Btw I'm thinking of selling my Racing CDI for my Sonic. Bought at $130, used only for a week because my Sonic cannot take the power. Maybe my Sonic engine is all standard no mod done. If you interested, just quote me and if the price is right, I will let go the CDI.

 

I see you're looking for hi-cam and mod piston for your Sonic, maybe I can help you find it. Just PM me bro.

Hey bro, actually I, myself also don't know what brand is the CDI. From what I know, I got this CDI from thailand. I have a friend in Msia and helped me buy some Sonic stuffs from thailand and bring come in Singapore. If you're still looking for your piston, maybe I can help you bro.

 

For the CDI, I have attached picture of it because I'm not too sure about the brand.

The CDI is too powerful because my bike is standard, no mods done. The battery capacity is small so I need to make it bigger. Just use 1 week, my battery going weak already. :p. I need to change the coil too if I want to use the CDI. Too troublesome, so I'll just stick to the standard.

 

Btw bro, if you going to change the carb, do you mind selling me your standard carb to me? Or trade with the CDI with a topup if possible? Because me myself also use the PE28 (Sp Carb).

lidat my bike cant use oso cause its more standard than urs..hee

i actually wanting to buy indon BRT.. but havent give my fren money to order for me yet..

 

about the standard carb.. hm need to think about it first.. hehe

anything i get back to u.

 

i now 50/50 want to modify the engine or not..

i just want a little bit more power..

and i need to rebuild my pgm3 as well.

 

Bro how is it with SP carb?

is it able to increase top end power or is it increase acceleration only?

my sprocket setting when top gear speed will drop when up hill.

If you want to keep your bike long then better don't mod your engine la bro. Because that time, I go WY full service my bike, they ask me I used mod piston or standard because my piston spoil. I say standard, if mod piston, need to order bla2. If they can't find the mod piston. That's the end i guess. So like troublesome for you la.

 

As for my carb, it was from the previous owner. So I cannot tell the difference la. So sorry. But I can tell you that it uses too much petrol. Cannot tahan :p
