I no money, buy only 1,500 cc Vios, the COE so much cheaper, those earning big money can afford big cars pay more for COE fair lah.

Those drive big car the COE expensive, want to save some money but still need transport, can go and change buy smaller car, the COE cheaper by $10,000.00 ++

 

But for riders, ride big bikes eg: Harley 1,300cc, when COE expensive, change to ride kup kia, KNN! COE also same price!!! Kena snooker! @#$%^&*!!!

Then those riding 50cc old school kup renew COE also same price as 1,300cc bikes 26 times their cc.

What is this man?!?!?!

 

Bro, the way COE bidding goes, if you break up the category for bikes, you may have a scenario of small cc bikes having more expensive COEs cos the demand is more than big bike.

i really think LTA should have a separate COE for different class of CC for motorcycles like they do for cars.

That's the same for Big cc cars just some years back, the COE for Big cars 1601cc or more was cheaper than the smaller car's COE.

Remember at one time, got 1 mecedes owner bid the COE at $50 and got it!

 

But I see your point. On the bright side, everyone will be upgrading their licence and buying new cheap big cc bikes.

And those with big bikes with COE expiring can get cheap COE!

If for passenger, the back cannot seat people one.

Its really stupiak right, bike comes with two seats, additional passenger seat installed, why void the original bike seat? SMLJ theory is this? Want money, say want money, no need to cum up with cock theory to insult us, tax paying citizens.

 

 

My bike weights 240kg, unladen, i weigh 75kg, total weight on bike side is 315kg, if attached sidecar weighing approx. 50kg, plus passenger 75kg max, laden weight on sidecar side 125kg, so its very unbalance to have 1 passenger seat, i need to install a dual passenger sidecar or a single passenger cum boot, then can pass. Their original specs is for small bikes which weighs 150kg, so with passenger car, passenger must sit in car, not on bike, else may topple over. Dunno yet if i'll go ahead with this installation, now still enjoy ridding solo. But technically, bigger bigger bikes with sidecars can take 3 passengers because of their weight.

Is there a export market for small bikes? DOnt think its very lucrative either, since most of Asia is gaining afluence also. So this COE greedy thingy only chop the bike industry dead and kill its only long term revenue line. Thats usually what happens when you try to make as the middle man, people just give up buying from you and seek alternatives. Anyway Sg is no fun to ride, too congested also. Lets all ride bicycles instead and make it truly Chinapore for a change.

bro serious huh?? i thought it was cheaper back then?? i didnt know cause i only start riding since '04.

but i remember i bought my spark on '06 and the coe was only 700+..how i wish it could drop that low again.

if 10 years ago can hit 3k i wont be surprise sooner or later definitly it will increase again. probably more than 3k in years to come.

When are u getting ur new bike? U previously said 2011 models, but they have been out for quite some time.
