Hi guys,

Anyone of you have ever came across lockable tyre caps?

Some low life ******* stole my tyre caps, not the first time on my bikes already.

If anyone of you have came across lockable type caps, please advise the price and place where it can be bought.

Thanks!

I love the cheap skate plastic tire valve caps. It is lightweight, corrosion resistance and most importantly no body bother to steal them away from my wheels. I lost many bling bling tire valve caps from my cars and bikes but never have a plastic one stolen :thirsty:

I don't think there is such lockable tyre cap in the market. Making it lockable also means building up the weight of the cap which indirectly affecting the wheel balancing. Of course this is the extreme case. Just use those cheap cap will solve your problem.

Best of luck to you! :D

Already lost my anodized red bridgeport caps. I really should keep the nice red ones and put on the ugly plastic ones.

We suffered the same fate. Son of a b*tch stole my bridgeport cap.

Hope he enjoy using it on the ride that will ultimately maim or kill him.

There is actually such an item.

It comes with a small allen key, which you turn the screw to secure against the valve.

But I've not seen it sold in the shops here.

Irritating man, these thieving basturds.

i have bought a pair of lockable air pressure indicator valve caps from ebay. that means the tyre cap can actually tell you when your air pressure is low. quite a good buy.

Don't be daft. Vote for change.

Hi,

Can share the exact brand/ type of tyre caps that you bought over ebay?

Thanks!

yes I have seen this on the british bike sites, but cannot locate it at the moment, not cheap though and not theft proof also.

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.
