bike can't start properly...

as usual i have to kickstart my bike but usually just once or twice it would start but yesterday night, I keep kicking and kicking, but it won't start. like it dies off. Its from a cold start but usually, it shouldn't be that hard to start from a cold start right. mines a new bike and its only been a month. Somehow, I have to keep pressing down the crank and hold it for about 0.5 seconds and a ticking sound would appear. And as soon the engine starts, I let go of the crank. As much as I know, you can't hold the crank and let the ticking sound hold on for too long. it will cause the enigine to wear out easily and spoil my engine...

 

Why is it like that?

I remember pushing the bike abit from the lot to the carpark. but does that affect how the bike starts?
