actually, just to let u know that the cbr150 is modelled after the

98 cbr600 f3. (I think it is in terms of engine and technology)

Just go to any website and look around...

Well, that means that the engine should be quite good... As my bike is already 5 years old but still can reach top end whenever I try... Moreover bike is stock and without mods...

Anyway, I have tried a friend's cbr150... what i can say that it is very easy to corner... just like a 600. Compared to rxz, sp, tzm and definitely kr, I think that this is the best cornering bike... Better if get the sticky tyres, would definitely make it more shiok... Well, this is just my opinion after testing out all these friends' bikes... Of course, the respective owners disagree

Well, to the cbr150 owners out there... If ur bike straight road lose out, never mind.... Just wait for the corners... It'll be best if can try out at pasir gudang... Ten everything becomes obvious ;) ...

actually been tinking for some time.. dunno whether to get 2nd hand sp or this cbr150 after passing..

both is about the same price.. so might as well get a *new* cbr rite? it looks good.. but heard ppl condemning it say no power and all.. but then.. not like i'm gonna speed at 160+ rite? after all, intend to upgrade, so dun need such a powerful 2b bike..

juz wanna ask.. are there still other colours around besides the repsol colour? handling good? light?

The cbr150rr comes in blue, maroon, silver, red and repsol (as far as i noe). But of course if you have the cash, you can spray any paint work you want lar...haha...

Handling is ok, and it can easily squeeze thru traffic due it's skinny frame. Fuel consumption is relatively low, can go 250km for 7bucks.And it's 4 stroke, dun need 2T. Good-looking exhaust pipe :D

as long as got money, any paintjob u wan also can :bounce: :bounce:

hmmm as for whether u wan sp or cbr,y not u sit on both bikes first n test ride first if possible? then u can make ur choice liao ;) ;)

anyway, if u intend to upgrade, getting a 2nd hand sp is better coz its cheaper than getting a 1st hand cbr mah rite?

Yar, if you gonna upgrade once you get your 2A, then just get a 2nd hand bike. I wun even consider sp if i am gonna dump it after a year...too expensive liao. But it's one of the better looking 2B bikes around lar...and one of the fastest 2B as well. Just dun even think of eating haya/r1/blackbird for lunch

Yeah man, the cornering is pretty sweet...but the stock tyres (IRC) suck...so be careful. Best is change tyres lar...but i got no $$$ :weep:

Hi,

I need comments on this bike:

1) How is the maintance costs like? Is it reliable? As in no oil leak here and there, no this thing spoil that thing spoil after a while...etc.

2) What is the latest price now roughly? Me 27.

3) Is it easy to ride? Like no gear very hard to kick lah, skid easily? etc.

4) Any rusting problems?

5) Fuel consumption?

I need a low cost low maintance, nice looking bike for transport purposes...downgrading...no $ :weep:

Thank u very much!

is there any other part that should be changed regularly?

Yeah, the but the 2T would be a burden too.

It's very low maint for a bike. Esp the fuel consumption..

Air filter and sparkplug should be 10,000km rite? I'm not tat sure too cos i'm still 3,500+km..

Recently bought some car engine oil and the guy gave me a bottle of Semi-Syn Transmission gearoil 75w/90,for car.

Pour it into my CBR150R,so far no problem.

iF i CONTINUE,ANYONE CAN ADVICE will there be any problem for my bike?

So far going smooth, and all those noises associated with 2B bike are well minimised.

:slapforehead: Usually gearoils use on 2 stroke engine motorbikes. Not too sure if suitable for 4 stroke engines though. Highly recomended is still 4T for 4 strokes engines.

hi guys,

i ride a cbr 150. Have not log in here for more then a year. Also didn't have time to read all the froum.

My top speed is 140km/h but many said it's not the real speed and it only about 120 or 130km/h when I was riding with other bikers. They riding super 4, harley, st, etc... so i guess that the actually speed is about 120 or 130km/h when your meter shows 140km/h.

Next, my full take can travel to about 370km plus, minus.

Anyway, would love to know more cbr 150 bikers. Any gathering??

Hi all,

Recently got my new car, going to sell my CBR 150R,veri reluctant to sell but have

to let go, cause it is a waste to park and not use. No more instalment, so cash

sale. 8 more years to go. New tyres/chain/air filter/battery. Any interested parties

can sms me @ 97481860 to negotiate the price, I'm letting it go at way below

market price, much more cheaper than what you would be paying if buying from

motorshop. Fuel consumption veri and maintenance veri low, parts can get from

Malaysia also.
