A dfferent sort of experience...

i was once a newbie.. thinking that buy new bike, i can be spared from the "trouble".. Got my new bike from a retail bike shop. the price sounds right and i paid a deposit for it. "The sales mention this bike is a 2009 model". Ok.. i bought it in 2010, thinking its not too old.

However, after all the paper work were done, i went down to collect my bike, the Insurance paper show Manufactured date 2005!!! Registered in 2009(technically i sort of lost 1 year of COE) Gosh!. i question the bike shop (the sales was on some long leave), but i have no witness the sales guy was not around. damn angry. but no choice i paid 3k deposit! LL

If the sales guy were upfront of all these information, i wont feel so damn cheated!

Moral of the story, dun pay too much deposit. ask to see ALL PAPERWORK before signing on the dotted line.
