Next week I dedicate one Ice Kanchang at Jonker st in ure memory so tat u will retrun fast..... Zack says ure recovering quite well... Hang in there bro.....

Actually hard to say..... the BB is quite a strudy bike so sometimes problems wont surface so easily.... I know one BB went for full engine overhaul at 107000km..... but that bike not for sale lah... almost cost the rider 4K...... Ive seen a 250K BB tats newer than mine as well the engine still sounds sweet... its really luck.... like all second hand bikes luck is a major part... carb models are rumored to be more powerful... but bro even the 06 model does 250 easily if u wanna push it so i really dont know where the power is lacking... at that speed only GOD can save u if u hit a pebble.. shop around... take ure time

 

i guess FI is better coz u noe whether it has problems or not...but sumtimes cant say coz of wiring...i mean the FI light...but if i'm not wrong carb save petrol right??...mine is FI model...270 reserve..fuh...like drinking coke seh...but the power still there..nice bike to ride..haha

Yup....tested mine too.....220km 2 bars left 250- 270 anytime the reserver can go in.

JUst to share .. last week i tried the new E22 senai-desaru highway .. virgin highway .. but highway ends at pasir gudang, kampung pasir putih, cos desaru stretch not ready .. for those who want test machine, must try .. GERRREEEKKKKKKK .. why ? cos no traffic n u sprint until u fed-up .. but remember, no highway stop, just openend so make sure petrol enough for 2 way trip .. then have dinner at the restaurants overlooking ubin .. nice view ... not many singaporeans there .. bro CIRCA, u will love it .. hiihihihi

 

Next, remember i told u guys about my bike, sometime cannot start wen all lights are ok including FI and HISS sound .. only the neutral light sometime on and off .. went to workshop and found out gear shift 'pin' faulty .. change it for 18 dollars and the problem settle ...

I too had the same problem as you. No neutral indicator after a while and bike cant start (need to clutch in to start) Appararently ECU cant detect the neutral gear. had to change the neutral sensor or gear shift pin for $15 at Planet. and problem solved.

Thanks bro for your inputs. I'm currently taking my time and looking for a good BB. There's a couple for sale online but haven had the chance to view them. I might just consider getting those slightly newer models with FI cause i've never tried an FI bike before so i wanna try feeling the difference if there's any lah. Anyway, i know BB is a good and reliable bike thats the reason why i wanna get a BB. But like you said it's mostly luck if i get a good condition BB. Just need to prepare extra cash for anything unexpected.

 

Is it true that the models after 2002 haven digital speedometer instead of the normal analog? Are there any other difference?
