Honda Blackbird CBR1100 XX

Saw a lone blackbird sg plate near Machap on Xmas eve, the single rear lights (old model blackbired with one rear light) seems dim.

Frankly the bike and rider not well seen from far, can be dangerous if the rider is not in a rush and obey speed limit while other

drivers carelessly zoom by. Wife was concern.

 

Perhaps blackbird rider should increase visibility

- ensure relatively new bulb and battery

- reflector on jacket, boots or helmets

- reflector sticker on bike or box

- change to latest rear double deck lights or aftermarket LED lights

- change to yellow reflector number plate

- ride with a buddy or small group

The led taillight got a bad feedback from my fren so its up to you la.Nothing beats the OEM anyway.Juz my 0.2 cents

YUp, that's rite, but for me, i did a bit of customize on it a bit, by adding High Watt LED(5pcs) when braking it will light up, Damm bright, in terms of safety, so that others can see it very clearly.

 

So far have did it on my Bird And another 2 silver B.Bird, the M.W also ask me how i manage to add LED on it...!

So do you guys normally install pc3 with the slip ons?..I'm thinking of not installing pc3 first. Get the cans,use back stock airfilter(i have a K&N),then when have $$$ i get a pc3 and put back the K&N airfilter.

 

using aftermarket cans wif aftermarket airfilter is advisable bro.....esp if u removed the db killer

pc3 is not neccesary unless ure usin a FS...

I've tried riding w/o silencer and using K&N airfilter all the way up to KL and found out the exhaust tips are still sooty.(Signs of a rich air/fuel ,mixture and my engine is not burning up engine oil).

 

Need to setup properly lah...coz i dunt want to be stuck in the middle of NSHW. Use to ride my S4,did'nt setup properly,run too rich,destroying my piston and rings..cost me a new block and a set of 4 piston n ring..

Well,had some laughters during the short meet-up.

3 birds and a lorry.

Attendees-Circa,Sujak,Elfi(blue jellyfish) and Greysnail.

Been a while since i saw u guys,some oredi "clean" themselves,some spotting a damn bushy goatee,while the 2 crackos never fail to crack out some laughters.Hope i'll be able to make some time to meet the rest.In the end of the day,u guys really make me home with the brudders.Thnx guys.
