Nice way to burn your rear brakes...hehe!!...Btw anyone here ever encounter this problem. I was on my way back home from JB and it was raining heavily at BKE-PIE exit near the speedcam. Was following a car when it hit a big puddle of water. The water spashed directly onto my headlight.

 

After exiting the expressway,found out that one sparkplug is misfiring(bike sounds cool when accelerating,sound like WRX's boxer engines heheh!!)..I guess that the water made it way into the ram air duct and into my throttle body.

 

So anyone kena before?...

i too nvr experience anything like dat.. perhaps u wanna take alook at ur spark plugs and see if ders anything wrong with the plugs..

Where u change and get the plugs from...?

 

 

If u change plug, and the problem still persist, then most probably ur ignition coil faulty..

Jbat,if u noe how to remove the panels aka fairing,try to see or hear if there's any water in the snorkel box which i believe would not have happen.check the plugs too.Cos if water goes into ur piston,it would probably be jammed.Try checking the airbox filter too to see if there's any water residue.if there's none,then ure safe.My high suspect will be ur fpr or fuel pressure regulator.Can be easily diagnose if ur start ur engine and spray some water on the exzos manifold.If pipe 1 & 4 is hot and 2 & 3 is cold,then its the FPR.I seldom come across with failed coil la bro...

anyway, a fren of mine had a problem with his fpr.. he chose to use the old fashion way and put in some moth balls... surprisingly it werks but not for long.. jus sharing some NOT TO DO scenarios...

Well my bike now slowly in progress of converting to a naked streetfighter,will implant a Super4 handle clamp to fix a Renthal bar(waiting for money to drop from the sky before i can do that) i've found out that its possible to do that mod as i only need to drill it the top yoke but i'll reinforce it with another metal plate to help cope with the heavy handling.Finally managed to scrimp to get me a new throttle switch.Next i will get my slightly damaged fender fixed,followed by my oil cooler which need serious repair or if else fail,juz throw 240 for a new cooler.Modify my snorkel like a F18 intake exhaust.Get either Acerbis alien headlite for the face.or whatever headlite which can attached with a H7 bulb.Most likely my featherless bird will fly out by the end of this year la.If all happen as planned,guess my missus can start worrying oredi...
