To the Mcdonalds for lending us some space to sleep, To the masseuse that help us to relax our aches and lastly to the bike washer who helped to clean our bikes.. Your problem didn't dissappear bro. This is a bike, a machine, mechanicAl, electrical..... Please get ur bike thoroughly checked out dude. Dun sit on problems like this for too long. I saw u fishtail on the gravel the other day, please bro please, get ur FI or whatever it is wrong on your bike fixed, and if u can't, then don't ride it at all.... Accidents happen, it's oredi bad enuff,,, I dun have to play out a scenario to u bro. U were lucky u didn't go down on saturday, but dun test ur luck again. Take care dude.

I am suspecting the major problem could be due to the wiring.. while calculating the damages it's gonna cost me, I feel like giving this bike up as what zac advised..

was at Unique TG. apparently, KINGRN was there over the last weekend, and they checked the wiring, WD40ed it, and also changed the knock sensor. and the FI problem persisted. I will let the KINGRN update u guys on the rest.

 

but anyway, if any bros, Sujak or KINGRN wanna check if your ECU is alright, u could swap out someone else' ECU. that's the best way to see if it's ECU or something else.....

 

and btw, UM charge around $800+ for ECU..

You will be shocked to find out how little this might actually cost u. The blackbird just like my Vara, Is an aging giant. Many a time, plug connectors and some wiring is bound to come loose or can even burnt when the electrical system is not as sound anymore. I used to have an idiotic problem with my vara where she will cut off at certain angles. Sensing it might br a fuel flow ot air flow problem, I replaced my air filter, then my fuel pump and then the fuel filter. Tot I could have solved the problem, sadly still there, so round two, changed plugs ( threw away my iridiums and put in normal plugs) changed fuses, and even cut off my spotlights just in case they were the problem. After spending so much, nothing solved the problem and one fine day, went to Hkl and the mechanics there spotted the issue, JUST A BURNT CONNECTOR PLUG IN THE LEFT FAIRING...

 

He replaced the plug head and wallah, all is well after that. Cost me a mere $20.00.

In fact my scenario was very close to what coolfire experienced at the ATV joint in Melaka where it was simply a loose cable, and yours could very well be the same prob. A $20.00 one.

In fact the initial batch of bb like ramesh and Sharm used to hang out with the vara boys before u guys started having ur own meet ups. The link was amazing. No doubt the Varadero was an adventure bike and the BB, the king of the skies,,,, we always had a connection... Cos bikes aside, we are bikers first.

 

And it doesn't take long before bikers open up to each other. Really enjoyed the company of all the bros the other day. It was a ride, there was no gixxer, no blackbird. Just a band of bros, who will be there in case ahoy happened,,, but more importantly to ride together, take in the fresh air together and to smile in unison.

 

I can buy a BB tmr, but I dun have to, I will ride what I ride just like you can ride what u want to, and I will still watch ur back.....
