hyperpro spring is abt $300.. but the whole thing pus the srping for the fork seeling at motor world for $950.. alot of good reviews abt it..

reading up more abt shock today.. 950 for front and back is definitely a good price too.

in the end, the ohlins and hyperpro are definitely better than stock. so, i think depends on your need and your budget.

This is my advise to you

You are getting married soon and cash may be tight

no need to be shy because we all have been there, done that

Before I got married, I also faced the same problems

house, renovation etc etc etc

Make a wise choice if u really wanna keep ure bike

You can always get a BB or another bike later after you have settled ure home stuff

U seriously need to sort out ure engine cut off problems first

I think Jbat will lend u his shocks in the interim since he already offered

But if you do decide on getting the new shocks then u must decide what ure BB will be primarily used for

Since ure not a trackie, I dont see any reason why u shd pay for Ohlins

The hyperpro is more suitable for long distance touring and everyday riding

In any case a set of ohlins is not gonna bump up the resale value by that much if u

decide to sell away the bike.. Ohlins are nice to have but really not necessary...

 

Lastly it us ure choice

Bro Sujak .. u may need the cash flow for ur wedding (believe me, n all other married personal, u need cash at hand) .. for the shocks, u got an offer from Jbat .. next april oso got performance bonus ma .. so no hurry lah ... abt the engine prob, if the cost is rocket high, again, u hev the kapcai ma ... dont worry, if its your bird, it will be yours .. if not, there's always alternatives, n lots of cheaper alternatives too ... but we r not compromising on safety ...

I may not have my wedding nearing anytime yet my bros,,,,but i do agree with Bro Confused and also Bro Blue Buaya,,,,, Safety is the main concern here, I was behind you when you almost crazhed the other day mid corner. It wasnt fun and i swear i clenched my jaw so fhard that it hurt later. Get it fixed or let it go bro...There are many many bikes to choose from later. Even if you want another BB, you could get one later bro. Its a great bike, thats why, Bro confused cant buy anything else, cos to him , this is it oredi.

There is no spring rate for hyper pro, as they are using Progresssive spring, that's why is one of the rite choice, for linear spring it may wear off after a certain period, as then need to change the spring....

 

For me, i'm using front and rear HyperPro Spring.. will change to the rear shock emulsion when my money plant grow next few months...

if im not wrong, hyperpro got spring for rear shock, and full rear suspension. and i believe the 950 package comes with the full rear shock..

 

for ppl who ride with pillion though, do take note the preload adjuster is at the bottom of the shock.. but as what the rest mentioned, progressive spring is definitely very comfortable for road use.

 

anyway, anyone wanna join me for endau rompin for waterfall next sunday? 1D ride. be back by evening. no overnight visa required. sujak, if u wanna come, i can loan u my scooter if ur blackbird is not ready.

bro, i think motoworld might stock up some pads.. what happened to the icon jacket?

 

anyway, im going by the same route we went to mersing, and then go coastal up to Kuala Rompin and turn into Endau Rompin.

so far, i have a few different bikes going. but well, if u can make it at 8am, then we will make it at 8. but i gotta ask the rest.

 

btw, currently the itinerary is 5.30am at JB shell. But this could change depending on the group. if u guys want later, can do later. But definitely aiming to be back by evening.
